Great place for a diving vacation. Rooms are exactly what you need and the wind provides the best fan. Food never was boring and special request where fulfilled when possible. Divesites where for all levels from and even after 2 weeks with 3 dives a day never boring.

This is really a splendid location for a perfect dive holiday. There are over a two dozens of dive spots to choose from ranging from the easily accessible house reef to the Gili Raja wreck 50 meters below the surface. There’s an equipment room which gets closed at night and a dry room for charging cameras and batteries. All cabins...

Young German speaking guests limited my American socializing. The spot is idyllic, tasteful wood and thatch styled buildings. Friendly and helpful staff, tasty food for the breakfast and dinner included. A la carte lunch tasty too. Free wifi to boot in the office area, but not in your room. Dive instructors tops. Suggestions: 1) ceiling fans in dining area, 2)...

As you can see, I've not been active in the past in TripAdvisor, but I can't leave the comment of Ester without reaction. My wife and me stayed for six nights in Prince John and felt really welcome. #1: diving: There was no problem for us to follow the briefing and it was clear and easy to understand when and...

After having a look on their website we booked Prince John Dive Resort for three weeks and had the best time ever! What you see is what you get, but with much more service than we expected. The owners are so flexible and always trying to help out, or just to have a good laugh and share some nice stories....

A few years ago we fell in love with SE Asia so our last diving holidays were the phillipines, borneo (Sipadan ) and Sumatra, but what we experienced at Prince John, was amazing!!! We had the basic bungalow, a nice walk but that helps you work off the nice food you had during the day :-), and the staff is...

We were here at Idulfitra so the public beach on the resort's doorstep was very busy and this is the only reason it is not 5 stars. I realise it is being a bit harsh as we chose to come here then, but I didn't fully realise the impact of being on such a public beach at such a busy...

Perfect getaway for relaxing, diving or waiting for your plane. Don't let the dark road to the resort fool you. Upon arrival one of the staff awaited us at the gate to escort us to our room. We dropped our stuff and at 8.30pm there was still dinner for us. The initial room we were given had some issues so...

We are so lucky to meet Dugong right at the first 5 minutes we dove in their house reef. Anyway, great staff! We could felt their positive energy. The resort are placed right at the beaches. Good thing they keep their beach clean. The food is okay, although the room we stayed at a little bit dusty because of the...

Arriving in Prince John Dive Resort means to find Pantai Karang and the kampung of the same name, 3-4km from Donggala. The entranche is the vast garden with grass and trees, and the roomy bungalows are situated on a high cliff, shaded by trees with visiting birds. Stairs go up to the vast balcony with seats and table. Good double...

“Mid-priced cabins are up the hill, but everything else is on the beach.”

“closer to the bar more rumor, but steep and dark paths. Trees take much of the sea-view, check this. Wifi at the bar. Connection poor.”

“Some bungalows are rather far from the main area, up a slope - so try and stay closer to the bottom of the hill. Bungalows differ from being wood to stone, but all look quite similar. Views seem to be the same everywhere - some have more trees in front, but none are completely blocked from a view (which incidentally is quite nice.)”
