Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great location - very clean and comfortable. Perfect host - provided all the information as a left us to our own which suited us. The bed was a little harder than expected but comfortable. Everything else was amazing and made our visit so memorable. The walk into the forest was lovely and perfect to dust away the cobwebs from the dinner and drinks from the Bakaliaraki taverna - just down the road the night before! 5 minute drive to the first monastery. Well worth a stay.

The most quaint place I have ever stayed! Felt very much like a home away from home. VERY CLEAN. Easy to check in/out. If you have a large back you might have trouble navigating up the stairs, so maybe request a ground level room, but views are just stunning. Breakfast had lots of options and was sufficient. Loved staying here and would highly recommend.

Hello! We stayed with my mom and sister in this wonderful antique house, between the rock mountains. It was amazing, everything clean, good shower, wonderful breakfast and the owner was super nice and explained us everything we had to see and try. Definetly coming back to their place.

This may be a very good pension in Monemvasia. However, we decided not to stay; a major dredging operation was ongoing in the harbor directly in front of the inn, and other construction was ingoing just behind the inn. Although we arrived before check in time, and the construction stopped in the afternoon, the next day it was going full blown in the morning again. Obviously, photos on the website did not show a dredging operation, but Management should be upfront with clients about changing context and views. Again, this might- when dredging is completed- be a very nice place to stay or, if you don’t care about views and construction noise during the day, as you might just be looking for a place to lay your head at night, this might be very good.

Booked for one night but stayed for two. Really beautiful accommodation and a super breakfast with a fantastic host. Would definitely come again to this lovely spot which is perfect when the sun shines and cozy when it doesn't.

Very good value. Nice views. Close to very good Tavernas. Comfortable room with AC and everything that you need. Family run place. Breakfast is really nice.
They let us use the shower at 2pm although we were supposed to check out. Nice gesture after a hike. Overall we're very satisfied.

The B&B is nice and cozy. Walls are so thick you don't need an airco (but they are in the rooms) Breakfast is extended and really tasteful. The owners are helpful in finding your way around. Driving by car to the Meteora they are not more than 15 min away.

My visit to this guesthouse was booked through a package tour from the local Visit Meteora travel company. It included two nights stay plus three hiking tours.

The Petrino Guesthouse was beautiful and the location just under the massive rock formations was perfect! It was spotlessly clean, quiet, air conditioned, and well appointed, including bottled water, shampoo, soap, hair dryer. My room had two twin beds, a fridge and lots of storage. I also had access to a small balcony with sunset views and a seating area. Just watch your head on the low doorways!

The lovely breakfast in the walkout cellar included greek yogurt, pastries, bread, homemade jam and honey, hard boiled eggs, meat and cheese, coffee and juice.
Nearby restaurants were only a couple minute walk down winding narrow roads, longer to get back up the hill after supper!

The hosts were very accomodating with check in. They provided a front door key, so there was no issue accessing the guesthouse when they were not on site (they live nearby and were accessible by phone if needed).

Highly recommended!

My stay was superb! I really have no complaints. I booked a single bed and was put in a bedroom with 2 twin beds. I ended up having the room for myself. The room came with a tv, a fridge with complementary water bottles, and its own washroom. I liked the fact that shampoo/soap were provided and that they had a hair dryer. The wifi was strong! My booking came with complimentary breakfast and wow was it good! Breakfast consisted of choice of coffee/tea, OJ, , greek yogurt, boiled eggs, bread, and some type of Greek pastries, both savory and sweet. Maybe I'm a simple person but I really enjoyed their coffee, greek yogurt and bread. The jam was so delicious!

We booked 2 rooms in April for one night for the beginning of June. The one should be a double and the other a twin bed room. The owner confirmed by email the kind of rooms we had agreed, requested and received a prepayment through her bank account. When we arrived we were given 2 double rooms. The one was ok, but the other was unacceptable. We were told that a couple of old people were already settled in the room we had booked and would not be moved! We were too tired to look for another guesthouse and stayed in that awful room. We were made to pay for these rooms the amount that we had agreed to pay for the other rooms. There are wonderful guesthouses around. There is no reason whatsoever to stay there, where one is mislead by the owners.
