Thalia rooms where exactly as i was expecting! Starting from the e mail that i received as soon as I booked the room , in which i was totally informed about every detail about the room and the activities! Then the kind welcoming ,the breathtaking view , the fully equipped and beautiful decorated guest house, made me feel at home!
Needless to say that the surroundings and the mystic atmosphere makes this destination absolutely magical!!!

A delightful stay. Ritsa was very accommodating and flexible on our arrival time. She gave us a detailed breakdown of the walks around the monasteries and recommended a lovely spot to watch the sunset behind the monasteries. She also recommended a lovely restaurant; Taverna Gardinia. The room was clean, modern and nicely furnished. Overall a pleasant stay.

First I need to say that information about this nice guest house on TripAdvisor and on Booking.com is misleading. IT IS NOT a B&B - it's a GUEST HOUSE. It has 3 rooms (with en-suite bathrooms) and fully equipped shared kitchen and dining area, perfectly suitable for self catering. There is a range of teas and coffee for the guests too. There is no breakfast included in the price of a room. We have been warned about this by the owner herself as soon as we booked. The communication was excellent, we were fully informed before we went there, what to expect.
And it actually exceeded the expectations. The guest house was one of the nicest we've been to.
It is very compact building, very clean and very nicely decorated. We were very impressed. Though, some people might find the size of the bathroom bit challenging, especially the shower.
The kitchen has the pans and pots to prepare the meals, mugs and plates and cutlery, kettle, hob, oven, fridge and even a washing machine too. Plus cleaning products. Perfectly suitable for self catering and for a longer stay (the guest house is quite popular amongst the rock climbers and other sports enthusiasts). Short distance to the local shops, bakeries, restaurants.
There are small fridges in the rooms too, and hair dryers, TV. Free WI-FI.
Thalia, the owner, is a perfect host. Very nice and very helpful. She speaks French and English too.
Oh, and there is nice view at the Meteora rocks through the windows.
Full (compact) package.

Thalia Guesthouse is worth staying at. Meteora is beautiful and everything is a short walk away. It's a little uphill so you may need a car / taxi if you have a lot of luggage. But its worth it !

The guesthouse has a modern decor and you can tell Thalia has great taste :) The rooms are very clean and well maintained. The bathroom is also super clean but a little small.

Thalia is very nice (she doesn't speak English but communication by email was fine). She was very helpful and also organized a cab for us at 5am to the train station for very reasonable rates.

Thanks for a great start to our Greece trip !

The perfect location for visiting the Meteore, which sit (!) right outside your bedroom window and are only a 5 minute drive away in the morning. So you can get there before the tourist hordes without having to get up at the crack of dawn. A kitchen is provided, but it's so cheap to eat out in the village you probably won't need it. And Thalia herself is lovely. She also speaks fluent French and is willing to help with any requests you may have. All in all, top marks! Thanks, Thalia, and hope to see you again soon.

Snug little hotel with a pleasant hostess. There are modern furniture and bathroom, clean kitchen for cooking, free wi-fi, computer. But most importantly it is a beautiful incredible view from the windows and balconies! This Guesthouse is suitable for rent whole for a large company of friends. It is nearby all attractions. We dream to come back here again!

very modern, clean and cozy guesthouse--the decor and amenities makes a 5 star hotel but at the same time it's a cozy 3 bedroom house with two floors. The amenities are excellent and Thalia is a really helpful host. Thalia's attention to detail is evident throughout--she even has clothes pins for the clothesline and all the amenities you'll need as if you're home!! Great place to stay! Thanks Thalia!

If you are lucky and your reservation is accepted (and Thalia, by the way, has a habit to confirm the made reservation herself) then be prepared to find the contemporary well equipped room with the adjacent small kitchen (there is a washing/drying machine in there if you need one) in just a half-kilometer from the legendary Meteora rocks and monasteries.
We think that was her son who greeted us at entrance and then quickly showed the room and all amenities. Internet worked flawlessly. The car could be left on the same hill in a dozen meters. Beds were comfortable. The shower room was great and modern (the shower itself looked small and narrow but appeared large enough and quite comfortable). Remember: you can use the REAL kitchen if you wish - just bring your food stuff (no need to buy spices, sugar, coffee, tea, etc. - you can find these in the cabinet). You can wash your stuff - a VERY important advantage for those (like) has been traveling in Greece and do have SOMETHING in suitcases.
Surely, you can find at least four nice tavernas in the vicinity of the Thalia Guest house... the real surprise was to discover that "souvlaki" are not those small pieces of meat but REAL GOOD pieces, we would say they were on-par with Georgian "shashliki" if you know what we are talking about. Try - you will be blown away!
Returning to the Thalia Guest house... we were keeping the window open through the night and did not regret: quite and nice sleep!!! And in the morning you can beat the crowd, heading to Meteora - thanks to the location!
Go and see for yourself :-)
