We stayed at the Pyrgos Adrachti for one night in order to explore the monasteries of Meteora. The hotel is located above the village of Kastraki and has fantastic views of the mountains above. The hotel has a lot of charm. We had a positive welcome from the owner who gave us a good briefing about the locality, which monasteries...

We stayed for one night. We had a room with panoramic view on the ground level. The view was amazing. I thought the hotel was a very good 3 star hotel. Could even be 4. Beds were comfortable. Rooms were very clean. No English stations on TV however. Breakfast buffet was rich. They serve the most amazing yoghurt! I dream...

A charming place to stay right at the foot of the Meteors, stunning views from the bedroom. Very kind and helpful hotel owner who spares no effort to give tips on the area and explain all there is to do. As we reached the hotel mid afternoon, a map of all the monasteries was already prepared for us with opening...

At the top of Kastraki village, the location couldn't be better, with stunning views of the rocks from the rooms. The owner is very helpful, with good advice on visiting the monasteries and local restaurants. The rooms are good, and we had a large balcony. The hotel was let down by our bathroom, which was rather small and dark and...

We stopped over last night in Kastraki on our way back from Volos to Corfu. Our friends had stayed here several weeks ago and gave PG a hearty thumbs up. We checked in and then visited the monestaries. After touring, the host recommended a lovely taverna nearby. We had Campari on the balcony looking up at the rock formations and...

Stayed here 2 nights while exploring Meteora and it was excellent! I had a room on the rear side overlooking the mountainous rock formations. It was beautiful and so relaxing. At night I was able to sleep with the screen down and double french doors openI The owner was very helpful and takes pride in his guesthouse. The decor is...

Nestled at the foot of dramatic mountain cliffs and rock formations, this is a special place. It is small and intimate hotel with spacious rooms enjoying a private patio with a direct view of the cliffs. The owner, Tharnassis, was welcoming and helpful. We arrived late. The streets are steep and narrow so Tharnassis drove down to our minibus to...

A charming, quiet little hotel that was supremely comfortable and very reasonably priced. Could not recommend it more highly. The owner gives you a map and an oft-rehearsed spiel on what monasteries to visit when and the best way to get around. Great visit.

This small hotel is quiet, modern, comfortable and in the perfect location to see Meteora. The premium rooms have great views with balconies. Staff is attentive and helpful. The breakfast is perfect. The Greek yoghurt is the best you will find. Perhaps the 10% fat is the secret!
