Looking for Boyne Valley accommodations, we chose Lougher Farm B&B for its quiet country setting and its proximity to Newgrange. A comfortable farmhouse just 5 minutes from Newgrange, the B&B is a fine home base for visiting the area. The bed was very comfortable, the breakfast was fine. Patricia provides guests with discount vouchers for admission to Newgrange. She and...

We stayed here last week for 7 nights and felt at home from the moment we met Patricia who is such a warm and welcoming host. We had originally booked to arrive a few months ago but had to postpone our visit and therefore the larger bedroom was not available to us. Patricia did warn us that there was only...

Lougher Farm is a very comfortable and welcoming BnB located amongst trees and green fields just minutes from the visitor centre for the amazing Newgrange and Knowth neolithic sites. Patricia is a great host, has lots of useful information and serves a massive Irish breakfast. Our room was quiet and the bed very comfortable. Floor space was adequate, not huge....

Patricia is highly professional but friendly with it and we felt like guests instead of customers. All our needs were catered for and we breakfasted like kings. The situation is quiet and we slept well. Unfortunately there was a glitch with our booking to visit Knowth - the reason for our stay - and we never got there, but we enjoyed...

The landlady, Patricia, makes the experience! She is a great hostess and an excellent cook. Breakfasts were delicious. Patricia was very helpful to us as tourists, as she secured tickets to Newgrange for us so that we did not have to wait in the long line. Our room was just right. I do recommend this place.

We arrived at Lougher Farm travel weary and were warmly welcomed. Our room was lovely. The breakfast was delicious, and the breakfast room airy and light with large windows. Patricia is a peach. Fred and Charlie (the dogs) were great company, as we missed our puppy at home. Patricia reserved our tour at Newgrange, which is just up the street....
