A perfect break from the stresses of a hectic retirement. We were treated as VIP's from the time we arrived till when we left. Our well appointed room was compact but very comfortable. Our dinning experience at breakfast and dinner was excellent with 'Master Chef' quality. The buildings and grounds they sit in must redefine 'Country Inn' !! Go and...

A lovely superb setting, made to feel very welcome by all the staff, found them to be very profession and polite. We had an upgrade to the Tinmalls room, excellent stay. A must visit hotel for couples or family's

Beautiful place, excellent food and very friendly, helpful staff. The beds and pillows are so comfortable. A little pricey but well worth the visit for a special occasion. Lower Slaughter is so pretty and very central for exploring the Cotswolds!

Well the Slaughter Country Inn is a nice little hotel in one of the cutest Cotswold villages. The garden of the hotel/restaurant is lovely, the rooms - at least ours - big and clean and cozy, the breakfast is ok - fresh perepard typical English breakfast dishes, but no real bread (just toast) and a very small choice of cheeses...

Having never visited this area of Britain I was impressed with the areas beauty. The hotel and staff were very helpful and friendly. Having stated I was eating alone they suggested the bar would be a better location. They were correct. Good food too.

A lovely peaceful pub to sit outside in the sunshine and watch the world go by. Plenty of indoor seating. Low ceilings giving a warm and cosy feel. Wide selection of food on the menu which looked nice however we only had a drink

Proud to be British and bring my guests from New York to such a beautiful part of England! The Cotswolds is glorious to see and The Slaughters Country Inn certainly exceeded expectations in all aspects. From the moment we turned the corner into the drive we were smiling and blown away. Thank you and will definitely come and stay again.

Hotel was very clean & in beautiful setting. I want a light evening meal without starch so ordered salmon starter as main. the portion was minuscule and extremely overpriced for the size @ £9.50. The big disappointment was that there was no Gideon bible in the room which means I won't be staying again

Thank you for your review. We are constantly reviewing the prices of our menu items, to make sure that they represent the quality of food we produce, and to match the prices of other same standard properties in our area. It is company policy that we do not provide Bibles in the bedrooms as standard. However, if it is requested...

Lovely hot chocolate & coffee with a good selection of beer. Great base for those that didn't want to walk up to the mill . Lovely grounds and beer garden , dogs welcome too. Rooms for accommodation were very expensive
