This is a gorgeous little place to stay. Alison and Dylan (the super fiendly dog) are lovely to be around. The room we stayed in was larger than expected with a great shower and toilet. It's tucked away on a very quiet road in Kirtlebridge and is dog friendly. Amazing value for money too. The bar offers a good selection...

We stayed at The Village Inn on the way to the Ardnamurchan Peninsula from Warwickshire and back and it was conveniently at the halfway point. It is close to the motorway so we didn't have to go far out of our way and they were welcoming of our young 4 month old baby and also our Springer. Alison, the owner,...

Excellent value for money B & B. Couldn't have asked for more. I had a large double bedroom to myself with an excellent comfy bed, 2 pints in the pub bar and a home-made burger for close to £46.00. This might not be the poshest B & B I have stayed in, but it was certainly a top place to...

We needed a quick stop on the long drive from South Wales to Skye and back. I booked this on the basis of value and review ratings and wasn't disappointed. Alison is a brilliant host and the Village Inn somewhere you can really relax and be pampered with good food to order, both late at night and in the morning....
