Just back from a great walking week at Las Chimeneas. Emma, David and everyone involved in this place are warm and welcoming hosts - you always feel like a guest rather than a customer. The food and wines are fabulous, the rooms are rustic but comfortable, and sparkling clean. There's a lovely "living room" for guests, with a fireplace, a...

CASA Las Chimeneas and Restaurante Las Chimeneas are fabulous. The hosts Emma and David, as well as all the staff make one so welcome. The location is stunning with breathtaking views of the Alpujurra's. The accommodation is really comfortable with good sized rooms, areas for relaxation, common areas to meet other travellers and a homely atmosphere. The facilities for bathroom...

Great walks from the village. Lovely atmosphere, food and staff in the hotel. Fantastic local produce and reasonably priced wines. Packages available via their website include pick-up from airport. Very restful place to stay and we will definitely return.

We visited this delightful rural retreat with Manna from Devon cookery school for a week of learning about the food wine and ingredients of the Alpuharra region. Las Chimeneas is run by Emma and David, along with a team of fantastic helpers, who have created a perfect mix of traditional accommodation and warm hospitality. Our room was a converted pepper...

We spent a week at Las Chimeneas on a cooking, walking (and eating!) course organised by "Manna From Devon" and had a marvellous time. As hosts Emma and David were charming and have done a fabulous job of establishing a guest house complex in the middle of a small Spanish mountain village. Their enthusiasm in talking about the village, and...

Spent a wonderful walking week here with my husband. The owners David and Emma along with all their staff were absolutely lovely. All the meals served in the restaurant were superb, using fresh local ingredients. Everyone went above and beyond to make our stay a memorable one and there is no doubt that we will return. Very many thanks, from...

We stayed here in early November for seven nights and were delighted about the location in a small unspoilt village. Food was tremendous and we were so well looked after by Emma and David and all their team. It is an excellent spot for walking and very dry - and we had no rain - good for us , but...

Its hard to know what to add to all the other very good reviews, that are all richly deserved. You get a friendly, welcoming arrival and this sets the tone for the whole stay. What is particularly nice is the way in which Emma and David, and Nick and Kat, go out of their way to talk to all the...

My husband and I stayed at Las Chimeneas last week and enjoyed a great couple of nights. We wanted a relaxing to stop in the Sierra Nevada in between visitings Granada and Córdoba. There is plenty of walking, some pretty surrounding villages and wonderful views of Las Alpujarras... in particular the view out of our room El Corral in the...

Las Chimeneas is not just a hotel but a whole experience, you are looked after from the moment you arrive until you depart. We booked a combined trip to Seville, Cordoba and Las Chimeneas. David and Emma (the owners) met us in Seville and we had two wonderful days exploring the city with them, they organised absolutely everything so we...
