4 nights at Lagoon Camp, with guide Matt and tracker James. We had beautiful days at Lagoon Camp. Nice food, friendly staff...beautiful rooms. We saw a lot of wild dogs :-) and general animals. At Christmas Eve, we arranged that we go eat separately with guide Matt, very nice to talk with him at diner table, he is so friendly!...

Game drives are really dependent on just what animals are out. Our tracker and driver were very adept at finding the tracks and patiently tracking. We went off road several times to find the leopard, lions, and hyena. A thrilling experience, not for the faint of heart. Our driver and tracker even spotted a chameleon during our after dark drive-...

Lagoon Camp was one of the three camps that we stayed, the other two were Lebala which is the sister camp and Kwara. At each camp we spent 3 nights. Accommodation: The tent is large and better equipped than the other two, with a large bed and indoor bath and shower facilities. The bed is very comfortable and the place...

We were a family with 2 teens aged 13 and 16. We had the family room tent, which was huge and had two bedrooms and a bed with a view to die for. The food was plentiful and very tasty. The first day on the game drive the only thing we saw was a pack of lion's, not to shabby,...

This was our first of 4 camps on our first Botswana visit, at the end of May 2015. We were most impressed with the "tented camp" which bears little resemblance to any tent we have ever stayed in! The accommodation was very comfortable and the view across the river from our room was very special. At night we were entertained...

A wonderful experience here. Our guide, Hobbs, definitely knew his territory e.g. found us four male lions by tracking paw prints. Two of the males (spoiling for a fight) were actually stalking the other two over territory. Other finds included a pride of female lions, cape buffalo, a porcupine, and a multitude of hippos. Hobbs is also quite the birder....

Kwando Lagoon was our 2nd camp, first tented one! Wow what a great experience! We flew from Kasane airport into the Kwando airstrip! That was the start of this little adventure! We were met by our driver and guide, Hobs and James! Both were so very helpful, fun and very knowledgeable on the area and animals. Nothing was to much...

When arriving at this camp, we were warmly greeted and given a briefing by Joseph, the manager. We had been at another Kwando camp the previous 3 days, so were aware of the schedule/expectations. Imagine our great surprise when we were told "you can't go to your room just now as there is a bull elephant in camp"! How exciting...........So...

The setting of this camp on the lagoon is lovely and the accommodation is exceptional without a doubt. On arrival there was a definite wow factor and we thought we were in for something really special, but unfortunately as time unfolded so many things about this camp failed to hit the mark. Perhaps it is the management that is the...

This was the second camp of our trip, and we loved everything about it. The rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated, the staff was friendly and efficient, the common areas were comfortable and pleasant. We loved the food--it was tasty, healthy and plentiful. I especially liked the homemade baked goods. (Speaking of food, a vegetarian would have no problem eating...
