Lebala was the last of 4 Kwando camps we visited on our recent Bostwana safari. We were a group of 16 friends and were seamlessly transported by small planes from one camp to another - all arranged by Kwando...no small feat! Everyone seemed to agree that, although we enjoyed the wonderful service and the diversity seen from each Kwando camp,...

Following on from Little Kwara Lebala offered different terrain and plentiful game viewing. A great team under Action and Opelo provide fabulous service and excellent food. With Charles and TT looking after us in the vehicle we were royally served with varying game experiences from 200 vultures looking at a dead reedbuck to young lions nursing! Really good thank you.

My girlfriend and I were at Lebala camp in march 2016 and it was the highlight of our African trip. the accommodations were great...clean, romantic, intimate, and luxurious. What a setting! The game drives were outstanding as we saw all the animals over and over again - hippos, cats, hyenas, you name it. Food? check. meals and high tea, and...

When you arrive you look out on an open savannah and see elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and antelope in the distance. We stayed for 3 nights which was the perfect amount of time. The accommodations, service, food, and location were all first class which allowed us to be well rested for safariing. We saw every animal including wild dogs, lion...

Label Camp, visited in late November of 2016 was a very special experience. Although I have visited Botswana and the same area before I was delighted by the unique setting of this very luxurious camp. The staff seems to have a special, happy camaraderie that makes your stay very special. Opi is a superb manager. Our guide, Bate and tracker,...

We loved out stay in LaBala: Bali and Tito were an amazing team of guide and spotter. The friendly and welcoming staff was such a pleasure to interact with and the last dinner where the staff sang and danced was joyful and truly a delight. The experience was perfect and I can't recommend any improvements.

We stayed at 3 safari camps / lodges in Botswana and this was the best! Our guide Bait was the best guide we had on this trip. We had a few exciting game drives tracking down lions, following wild dogs on their hunt, which are testimony to his guiding skills. But what sets Bait apart is that he is so...

Kwando Lebala is a really nice camp offering beautiful views over the surrounding landscape, even when suffering from a drought. We stayed there in 02/2016 and really enjoyed the exciting gamedrives and the company of our excellent guide, Bait. The food served was delicious, inspired by the local cuisine and always served at a communal table. The great rooms were...

'Intimate' and 'personal' are core Kwando Safaris values. The vast wilderness areas in which our camps are located are known for their remoteness and high quality wilderness experience. With the intoxicating sunsets, tranquillity and endless horizons, most people are reluctant to leave! In order for a camp to be included in the Kwando Safaris circuit, it must have the following characteristics: • Intimate and personal - no more than 18 guests per camp • Allow the sounds of nature to dominate • Be managed by experienced and talented citizens of Botswana with motivated and caring staff • Embody the unique Kwando 'Guide and Tracker experience' • Be staffed with guides with the experience and personalities to ensure that no activity is dull! • Limit each game drive vehicle to a maximum of six guests • Have structures that are semi permanent ensuring minimal impact on the environment • Demonstrate environmental best practices in daily operations including the use of renewable energy sources ... more   less
