Clean, staff friendly, basic but OK for an overnight after arriving late in Limoges. Loo space tight, bathroom functional. Remember to book parking if you need it. Good restaurants round about as it is fairly central.

Stayed here for a night, 2 double rooms costing €74 per room per night, breakfast was extra €10pp...room very basic and very small, but was warm and bed despite looking it's age was ok, although having been awake for 30hrs I would have slept on a plank.....tired looking bathroom but hot water, although no shower curtain/door so water went everywhere....

The menu on the wall outside appeared reasonable, so we entered and booked a table for 7.30, the monsieur seemed quite affable and welcoming. (We were actually staying in a different hotel further down the main street). Returned duly at 7.30 to be confronted by the "old dear" who stood scratching herself all-over!!...no greeting, no conversation, she just showed us...

Arrived at 1.45 needing a quick off motorway stop for lunch, we were greeted by the young waitress and seated on the terrasse. The older lady grudgingly brought us menus and then after we had chosen told us we couldn't have the menu. But she would allow one choice for all of us Cep mushroom omelette 17 euros each with...

Finding ourselves (myself, 8 year old daughter and small dog) at this hotel late one evening after suffering a puncture on the motorway with no chance of repair till the following morning I was distressed to find the manner of the proprieters terse, rude and unwelcoming. They very kindly made us a very simple snack, omelette and terrine and bread...

I booked the Restaurant as I had seen an advert which sounded excellent. After booking I looked at Trip Advisor and nearly cancelled but my Husband said, no we will go and form our own opinion. We are glad we did as the food is excellent, the best steak we have probably ever had. Wine and food expensive but worth...

We were welcomed warmly by both M and Mme Cantaut and taken to our small but attractively decorated room. New HD tv, big bath with plenty of hot water. As far as dinner was concerned, nearly everything was home-grown, from their own olives with our aperitif to the vegetables in the hors d'oeuvres, And both our main courses were delicious....

Overall a disappointment for a restaurant that looked so promising. The service distinctly lacked warmth and generosity. €17 for a plate of tagliettelles sauce forestière (one of the cheapest dishes on the menu) which we had to serve ourselves. No nibbles with our aperitif,no bread with the meal, no water, not even any parmesan to sprinkle over the pasta. We...

As one of the French reviews says: Time has passed this place by." Indeed. But it was a delightful step back for us, into a time when you ate enough at lunch to sleep off the rest of a hot afternoon. We did not stay at the hotel -- just lunch for us. The service was attentive and accurate, and...

It is sometimes unbelievable how badly you can be treated by somebody who supposedly relies on your business to survive! The staff were incredibly rude from the outset, making us feel unwelcome, unwanted and as though our ordering of lunch was a complete nuisance for them. The food was decent, but considering how many gems there are in the area,...
