Only two stations away on the Joban Line from Nippori, which is part of the Yamanote line. Tsukuba Express line, Joban line, and Hibiya line all stop at Minami-senju. The station is not too far from Haneda either, but there's nothing much around the station....More

Good: Price similar to a capsule hotel, but you get a single room! (Y2900/night) Quiet & safe neighbourhood, convenient to 7-11, subway and JR lines fast wifi, as in most places in Japan. Bad: No bath, only showers. But can't complain at this price. Could...More

This hostel always welcomes me super friendly. Room is not so big, but still I can have a private single room with reasonable price. And the staffs are always helpful. Now their big bathroom is renewed. Singing loud in this bath made me so refreshed.

The New Koyo hotel is located in a very quiet and residential area, well connected to the rest of the city by JR and subway, but with nothing around. Apart a 7/11 and some small restaurants it is not a place with things to do....More

    Ueno, Asakusa
Traces of the history and culture of the Edo (old
Tokyo) era remain vividly in Ueno and Asakusa.
Spacious Ueno Park is a great place to relax and visit
a variety of different museums and galleries. At
Ameyoko which starts in front of Ueno station, the
grocery stores and clothing shops are crammed
alongside fishmongers. It gets particularly busy at
the end of the year, when many people go on shopping
