Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This place was amazing and quite spacious. The room was quite room. The room as a whole was quite clean. We enjoyed how everything was close, Family Mart was attached to the hotel. Three working elevators that were usually quick. Access to body towel, razor, gowns and combs was in the foyer. Breakfast was included in our price which was great and had a huge variety of food - the mango lassi was delicious. This place was very clean and high recommend anyone to stay here. As the check-in was a fun experience. We used the subway Tawaramachi was a short walk away from the hotel. Accessibility to travel around this amazing city Tokyo. Hoping next time we stay - we could get a corner suite!

This is a tough one to rate. We booked the 12th floor suite and it was absolutely amazing. Perfect view of skytree, big room for our family of 3 and even a steamer to get wrinkles out of clothes. But the automation jn the hotel (for check in) makes the hotel feel more like a hostel and gives it a cold feeling. Same with the fact that the hallways seem to have no a/c (room was fine). Japanese hospitality is so great you really notice when it’s not there. So overall: if you get the 12th floor suite you will like it. But otherwise I think there are some nice touches to have in hotels to really make it an enjoyable experience and this one was missing a couple.

hotel boasts a convenient location and maintains clean, well-appointed rooms. However, the service offered falls short of expectations. Despite the absence of a delivery service, the inconvenience peaks when guests must personally transport their luggage to a nearby Family Mart for shipping. Regrettably, even the Family Mart fails to offer luggage delivery to the airport, necessitating a trip to the Yamato office. The inconvenience is further compounded by the distance between the hotel and the Yamato office. This experience has left me somewhat disappointed with the overall service provision.

Stayed two times here during a longer trip to Japan. It's been very inconvenient. First time, we were exhausted after a long travel from Europe and the rule was that each of us should register digitally. The breakfast was Japanese style -- very few continental options. It was shockingly "Asian". The room was little more than the beds. Everything was tiny. The second time we stayed at this hotel there were some issues with the bookings. Staff is minimal there, due to the AI alternative, which meant there were few "human" helpers. Room was slightly larger this time. The district around was ok.

We love this hotel chain. Easy check-in and check-out process. Clean rooms. Love the connecting rooms. Spacious and equipped with table and 2 chairs. Good for having meals in the room. Self service laundry machines available. The best thing we like is the convenient store right next to it and accessible directly via the lift as well.

Nice hotel, everyday cleaning of room. Easy check-in and check-out. Near fam
Mart that is very helpful if you need to get something. Room is big and wifi signal good.
It’s a self-in check in and the halogram dino and ninja will greet you. I love also the rooftop it’s overlooking skytree.

This hotel is a solid three star hotel, but I've given it an extra star because it does nothing wrong. From checkin to checkout you probably won't see any staff - the entire process is automated. Even baggage storage is a do it yourself activity with a bar and flexible cords you can lock. The included breakfast was interesting because it contained many Indian flavored offerings along with nan bread along with many of the items found in a typical Tokyo breakfast. Our room, one of the smallest ones they offer, was clean and quiet. We managed to find space for our luggage, something that is not always true in Japan.

I also gave extra weight to the fine location. In one direction you are only a few blocks from Kappabashi, the kitchen ware district. In the other direction it is a reasonable walk to Sensoji. Lastly, you are close to the Tawaramachi station of the Ginza line. This station has an elevator from the platform to the street for both directions. The one in the direction to Ueno is not obvious, but it is a great help if your train is leaving from Ueno station. I hate carrying luggage downstairs.

Dear Dreamer59016400170, Many thanks for choosing our hotel as well as for taking the time to sharing your experience with all the Tripadv users. Did you enjoy our hotel? If it is a deluxe twin room, it is possible to open a big suitcase. We think you can experience many things during your stay as it is close to the tourist attractions of Asakusa. Information on the nearest station's elevators is available on our official website, but we will improve it to include information on other sites. Our team are looking forwards to welcoming you back again, it would be a great pleasure for us. Regards, Manager Miyazaki

POSITIVE: Location. One-train access to Haneda Airport, 20 min by subway to Ginza, 10 min walk to Kappabashi kitchenware shopping area, 10 min walk to Sumida River and it's pleasant riverside trails.
NEGATIVES: Mostly clean, but difficult to reach areas were very dirty/dusty (eg, behind toilet seat, behind toilet, shelf running along wall behind bed.)
Room safe unsecure, but that was minor issue compared to the staff response. An item went missing, and the staff promised to contact us after checking entries recorded to our room. They did not contact us. After several hours of waiting we re-contacted them and were told they had checked and knew of no entries besides ours' for that day. When we asked if they could check previous days (as we stayed 7 nights), the response was that it would need to wait until the following day (after we were checked out and on a plane departing Japan). They did not offer to follow up with checking entries for those days on their own, nor any further action. After we asked, they did provide the phone number of the local police station; we walked 30 minutes roundtrip to the police station to report the issue. Frankly, we doubted the missing item would be located, so all we wanted was sincere concern and not to be ignored. (After we had this experience I did a Web search and found that the type of hotel-room-safe-missing-item issue that we suffered is not uncommon, though I couldn't find any instance in Japan and we had not experienced this elsewhere among our many stays in Japan.)

Airconditioning is not working at all. It's setting itself from 23 to always 27 degrees after 30 minutes. Absolute horror when it's plus 30 degrees outside and you just want to sleep. Talked to the stuff but they didn't help at all. We think we will move tomorrow.

Besides this, it's clean and the area is nice

A wonderful hotel located in a very central location. Close to everything. They provide you with everything from pajamas to toothbrushes and slippers. Fabulous high quality bathroom products. A large bathroom with bathtub and a shower jet better than that of a spa The room was spacious and soundproofed. It was cleaned very well every day. The breakfast was Indian and Continental so I had the pleasure of discovering other flavours. The staff was always available for everything. There is a well-stocked manga library. From the terrace you can admire the Skytree for free. If you need washing machines there are some available on different floors. The checks are done by Oleograms. A unique experience. You leave with a smile and leave with the belief that you will definitely return. I recommend it to everyone.
