The best thing about Dai-ichi Hotel Ryogoku is its accessibility. Located right next to the exit of a Metro station, it saves you time and effort in getting around Tokyo. Apart from that, there are a lot of restaurants and convenience stores within walking distance from the hotel. The hotel's in-house restaurants such as Azalea also offers affordable casual lunch sets in case you're too lazy to leave the hotel.

Affordable rooms if you dont mind the location. Located on the quieter side of tokyo. Will be a good choice if you are planning a visit to Disney park as the hotel provided free shuttle. Overall an average hotel

Surrounded by the hustle & bustle and bright lights of the City. But pretty expensive for bed and no breakfast! Apparently there's a gym/pool but these are well hidden and when one asks, there's a chunky extra charge. Pretty noisy too as right by the railway line. Rooms fairly standard for an international hotel; bathroom well equipped but shower a bit cheap/disappointing in the context of its environs.

This is a modern hotel in a non touristy part of Tokyo. The rooms are airy and clean, breakfast was very good. It is close to some small but typically Japanese eateries. Although people do not all speak English we had no trouble communicating. The hotel is only a few minutes walk from the Edo museum which is a must for anyone visiting Tokyo.

The hotel is businesslike and clean and functional and well located. The staff are friendly and try to be helpful but only a few of them speak English. The breakfast is fine too. All in all for a relatively speaking in Japanese terms budget stay, all OK but the rooms are tiny. Our one may even have been a sort of upgrade over even smaller ones. If you intend to be out and about and just sleep here it’s fine but not if you have any ambition to hang out in the room. Overall I’d spend a bit more and get somewhere nicer. I’m not that experienced in Tokyo hotels so perhaps this is an unfair criticism. Anyway it is presented as I saw it. We moved for the second night to a hotel with larger rooms at not inconsiderable expense.
