It is a budget hotel and it that sense it is totally ok. The rooms are very small and so is the bathroom. Breakfast is nothing at all in my opinion, coffee and crossaint:) But if you are still not going to be in your room it is budget friendly.

Keio Presso is a no frills city hotel in Shinjuku Tokyo. There are really minimal amenities and facilities here except for clean rooms at a decent rate. It is a 10 mins walk away from Shinjuku train station where u can connect easily to any part of Tokyo. There's also plenty of shopping and eateries around so it's really quite...

Purpose of my booking: I needed a place to stay for a couple of nights before moving into an AirBnB accommodation nearby. I was looking for a reasonable business hotel that was close enough to Shinjuku but not too crowded. I chose Keio Presso Inn Shinjuku because it was the most reasonable business hotel in the Shinjuku area and the...

Stayed there at the beginning of May 2015 with my family. Good location but unhelpful staff. They have a Western girl that work at the concierge that is rude and unhelpful. I traveled to over 50 cities in Japan over the past 20 years and this was the worst customer service I ever experienced..

This hotel provided very good price for stay in Shinjuku, with a fine breakfast buffet every morning. However, it is a little far from the main Shinjuku station especially when you have a big luggage.

Stayed here for my last night in Tokyo. Hotel is around £40 cheaper than higher grade and I would not have stayed here if I had seen before. Its a very basic Hotel situated on a busy crossroads. There is nothing really wrong with the Presso chain. This one has a great location right on the Keio line and near Shinjuku station allowing you to avoid the crowds of the station if you have some morning business. I have stayed at other Presso hotels before and they are basically the same. It is a standard business hotel with...

Staying in Shinjuku

Neighbourhood Profile
Shinjuku
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
