We’d rate this place 4.5 but they don’t allow for halves. We really enjoyed our stay here. Room was clean, small but typical for the area, and all the amenities you’d expect. Hotel was well taken care of and staff super friendly and helpful. Buy...More
We stayed in Tokyo for 2nights as a part of our honeymoon and just needed somewhere simple to stay as we didn't expect to stay indoors for most of our time there.

This is a good hotel and was ideal for our family. It was quiet but right next to the underground and only a 10minute walk from the busy centre of Shinjuku. The hotel is clean and the staff are nice and helpful. The buffet breakfast...More
Basically adequate three star hotel in a city where anything above three star can be horrendously expensive. The mixed western Japanese breakfast was very good and one could not fault the enthusiasm and professionalism of the restaurant manager who went out of his way to...More
10 minutes away from the station the rose garden is small but well formed. It is quiet with access to a large number of restaurants. A short walk to the more bustling areas of Shinjuku if you need to visit the bars & laneways.
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for
cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
