There was three of us in a room which was really was big enough for two, so it was uncomfortable and always tripping over the luggages. But overall the rooms are clean, with a good size bathroom, and the serves from the front desk was very helpful. It is located next to Nishi Shinjuku station and a 10min walk to...

I cannot speak more highly of this hotel and its staff. I worked in the hotel industry many years ago so I'm pretty hard to impress. Booked a twin room for my 10 year old and myself. She has a regular sized single and my bed is a large single/small double. Staff are very helpful and speak enough English to...

Close to all transport. Walking distance to some interesting parts of Shinjuku, restaurants, cafes, attractions, shopping. Clean, organised, efficient and friendly hotel. Stayed in a double room. Plenty of space for the two of us. Would definitely stay there again. Can't think of anything negative to say. All good.

This is a great hotel near a subway or 10min max walk to the massive Shinjuku railway station and huge department stores. Great friendly Staff, maps supplied when asked and a fairly normal western breakfast or Japanese if you like. Bfast if bought online was $10, we paid more as we went through an agent. $15 aud if paid for...

My daughter and I stayed here for 4 nights. This was my first visit to Japan and this hotel was a lovely place to start! The staff are so nice and helpful. We got a lovely 'Welcome Pack' on arrival including snacks and a miniature bottle of bubbles! My daughter and I shared a room. It was quite small but...

Amidst busy streets in Shinjuku, you will find a quiet but nice hotel. The buffet breakfast is good but suggest variety. The hotel staff are friendly & very accommodating. The hotel is very near to a subway station but not accessible via airport limousine shuttle. The pillows & bedsheet are comfortable but the room is too small. Suggest the hotel...

Stayed here for 5 nights! Thoroughly enjoyed my whole stay here. Stumbled on this hotel cos I realized that it has a pretty high rating, ratings which are usually reserved for higher end hotel. I got curious and I hv no regrets on my choice. Great location. Smacked Between 2 24 hours convenience stores , opposite to a plaza that...

Stayed with my 2 teens in a 3 bed room for 5 nights and it was great! Staff welcoming and pleasant, and they have the kids some welcome sweets on arrival. Family room was big enough (large for Tokyo) and was clean/had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. Free wifi was fast, and breakfast had Japanese & Western options...

This hotel was awesome! I traveled to Japan with my teenager who is totally into anime. We found this hotel by lucky accident- someone must have cancelled late, and booked it. The price was good. The room was a little small, but not horrible considering it's Tokyo. They made the bed high enough to stow the luggage under it.The bathtub...

We don't usually stay in 3 star hotels but this was all I could find having booked flights 2 days before. We were pleasantly surprised. The staff were lovely and super helpful. They also speak good English. We were given snacks and amenity packs on arrival. Rooms were lovely and clean but small as per usual Tokyo hotels. Subways are...

Staying in Shinjuku

Neighbourhood Profile
Shinjuku
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
