Just 3-5 mins away from Shinjuku JR Station which is important for travellers. Room is tidy though it is a bit small. Not a bad choice if you look for a place to sleep rather than staying long time in hotel

OK, Tokyo hotel rooms on average are not big. If you are a first time visitor to Tokyo you will be shocked as to the size of the room. But after a time and a few stays in this wonderland city you come to understand that tiny, petite, micro rooms are pretty much the norm here. For example, my room...

The location is great, relatively close to Shinjuku West End Exit. Plenty of eateries around and if you walk behind the hotel, there are actually more restaurants around. I made the mistake initially by trying to find places to eat closer to shinjuku station. The single room I had was appropriate size, the toilet somehow smells bad and I think...

Pros AMAZING location in the heart of Shinjuku (lots to do), close to a major station so easy to get anywhere! Exceptionally friendly and extremely helpful staff. They greet you every morning and answer your questions so well, despite a slight language barrier. While the room was small, by Tokyo standards, it was actually a very decent room size! Clean...

I really enjoyed my stay. This is a great location just a short walk from the Shinjuku station and the Shinjuku nightlife. My room was clean and comfortable. Great value and wonderful, friendly staff.

I was able to check into the hotel in the early morning when I arrived in Tokyo that day. The staff was courteous and they were prepared for my arrival. The check in and check out were speedily done. Well done!

As an Accor Plus Gold member, I would tend to consider Accor Group Hotels first before others. As for now, only two properties (Mecure Ginza and ibis Tokyo Shinjuku) participate in this membership programme. The location of this hotel is excellent if you are likely to spend quite a bit of time in Shibuya, Shinjuku and Harajuku. You can easily...

Staying in Shinjuku

Neighbourhood Profile
Shinjuku
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
