Nearly everything is well done. Room is compact but very clean. Staff courteous and helpful. Location is convenient. We kept our bags overnight while we traveled to other areas and back. Breakfast was simple but good.

we stayed in this hotel in February this year. it is in a really good location, close the the station, and there is a convenience store right near the hotel. we booked a twin room to get a bit more space, and even though it wasnt huge, it was ok for the two of us. The room was really hot...

We arrived 2 hours prior to check-in time, very jetlagged after a long flight and wet from just a few minutes walk from the station. The clerk at the reception offered us towels to wipe the rain from our faces and allowed us to get our rooms ahead of time (I had written to them in advance and got the...

Location is very accessible to and from the places we want to go. JR express and subways are within walking distance. Staffs are very accommodating. No problem in talking in english. Always ready to help and extend assistance. Room and toilet are comfortable enough given the size of the triple room. All ammenities are available. Will definitely stay in this...

Pleasantly surprised: clean, efficient, convenient and nice. Room was small. Loved the capsule-bathroom - size of a closet, but amazingly convenient. Walls thin - but not a problem if you are jet lagged. Excellent location: short walk from limousine bus drop off at Shinjuku station. Close to shopping, food and nightlife. Try it!

I stayed at this hotel for 1 night. The front desk staff are very nice. I got an upgrade to twin sharing room. The room size is not too big. The location is not too bad, around 10min walk to Shinjuku Station. However, there is a subway station exit just opposite the hotel. This hotel has a smoking room. Not...

I had chosen a non-renovated single room to avoid being just in front of the large street. Got an unwelcome upgrade to the 3rd floor renovated room next to the fire exit in front of the Main Street. I wasn't quite happy, but their intention was good. I was worried the noise might prevent me from sleeping. Actually, it woke...

We stayed at the Ibis Tokyo Shinjuku in November of 2016 as part of a guided tour with Inside Japan Tours. Because the stay here was included as part of our tour package, I cannot comment on the price or the booking. Location: The hotel is very conveniently located within a few minutes’ walk from the massive Shinjuku train station....

Dear khchang, Thank you for taking your time to write us such a long and nice comment after 5 months. We are happy that you have been fully satisfied with our rooms, even you mentioned some issues, which are, compared to japan, totally normal. As example the iron board in the rooms, we prevent to have them in the room...

I've stayed in a lot of Ibis and this one is no different. Provides all the basics that you require for a few nights stay. Took the Narita express (NEX) to Shinjuku station. It takes a while to find the west exit and roughly 5 minutes walk when you exit from the Odayaku shopping mall station (West exit). Can be...

Dear John_gpjm, Thank you for your clear comment towards our Hotel. We are happy that you liked your stay, even if the way to the hotel with luggage was a bit inconvenience. As you said already, rooms and space in Tokyo are quite small but small doesn't mean to be uncomfortable, as well as we try to compared the small...

The staff are very helpful and extra accommodating. We lost our passports on the way to Tokyo. The staff assisted us in contacting the bus company that we rode and in advising how to report the lost. The staff are courteous and responsive to the needs of guests.

Dear Norger T., We are thankful for this nice comment towards our stuff. Staying in Shinjuku

Neighbourhood Profile
Shinjuku
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
