As we arrive to mesmerising Tokyo, we are greeted by polite receptionists in a spacious lobby. On this note... the dream ends. The room size is so inadequate to the price, the windows are tiny and pretty much no view - although you just next to Hyatt hotel. You can not join beds in a double room, and there is...

Convenient to reach from Narita Airport via the Limousine Bus. Arrived at the hotel earlier than the check-in time, and the lady at the counter who assisted in keeping our baggage was friendly and helpful. Check-in was fast too. Room was clean, nothing major to pick on. Bathroom was spacious enough. No minibar drinks provided, but anything could be purchased...

If you are arriving from Narita Airport, an alternative to Tokyo would be the Airport Limousine Bus which conveniently stops right infront of Shinjuku Washington Hotel. The hotel is also a walking distance to Shinjuku Station via the underpass. However do note that the underpass closes at 10 or 11 at night. I would also like to recommend a Halal...

The hotel is well located and can host large groups - which is why we stayed there with a group of 43 people. Rooms are tiny with no closets so you have to be a bit creative in your organization if you are staying for a few days. On the other hand, the small space is well provided with small...

Good location hotel in not so busy area of Tokyo, but within walking distance to lots of touristy areas, especially Shinjuku. The hotel rooms were a bit expensive and small, but it's very clean and nice. The airport bus from Narita directly stops in from of the hotel so it's very convenient especially if you have lots of luggage. Would...

Location is the first quality for this hotel, usually full of tourists. Staff service is good but nothing exceptional. The problem for average Western is the size of the room, small , for its price range. Other options would be the Ibis near by with more room, but again the facility to be located almost in front of Tokyo Metropolitan...

It is very close to the Shinjuku shopping area. Room was very small and we barely could move inside (with 2 adults and 1 10-year old). Even more difficult to move our bags. However, the staff were very friendly and they have restaurants downstairs.

Location ist great, especially when you have just arrived at Haneda Airport from a long flight, because the Airport Limousine Bus-stop is located right in front of the hotel. And of course there are plenty of restaurants all within walking distance. But be prepared for tiny rooms, but, hey, this is Japan! I just managed to put my suitcase below...

First time time in Tokyo. The hotel looks impressive from the exterior and doesn't disappoint when you go inside. The rooms are very small, but spotlessly clean and enough room for baggage. Bathroom is also small, but again clean, have techno toilets and I cannot fault them. The staff are so polite and friendly, most spoke English and were very...

Though the location of the hotel is very good but the rooms are very small. Had requested for a twin room but was given a king bed room. Breakfast - though there are three- four outlets but the choice is very limited for western food and there is no indian food.

Staying in Shinjuku

Neighbourhood Profile
Shinjuku
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
