Perfect location for work travel in the Shinjuku area. The hotel is a short stroll (10 mins max with luggage) from the train station with direct JR Narita express straight from the airport. The rooms are larger than the Tokyo norm and very well appointed. The staff are exceptional and worked wonders getting me adapters, irons, maps etc.... all at...

The hotel elevators need to improve to handle heavy traffic as some time, the wait for a elevator can be as long as more than 5 minutes. And being a business hotel, the room lighting need to be brighter for working in the room.

Rooms are large by Japanese standards and has all the amenities. Hotel needs upgrading though as almost 30 years old - threadbare carpet, old style furniture and furnishings. Hotel shuttle at bus station # 35 in front of Odakyu Halc department, Shinjuku station west exit. Alternatively, from the station, follow the signs towards Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building/Shinjuku Chuo Park (about...

Lovely hotel in a great location within Shinjuku. Hotel offers a free shuttle service to and from Shinjuku station which is fantastic offer. Friendly and very helpful staff, with the majority being fluent in English. Plenty of restaurant options within the hotel and a 7/11 and Starbucks in very close proximity of needed. Plus being in Shinjuku there is a...

I've now stayed at all but one of the Hyatt properties in Tokyo (not Park Hyatt yet) and like the others, Hyatt Regency in Tokyo has fabulous and courteous staff. While it isn't as luxurious and perhaps not as well appointed as the others, the room and bed was still very comfortable and spacious, especially for a hotel in Tokyo....

Stayed there already few times. Also have Hyatt platinum card. However during my last stay they gave me a room next to elevator with view on wall. Bathroom also smelled bad. When I asked for other room, reminding is was returning guest and platinum member, the receptionist went all out of the way to explain me why I should NOT...

A classy and luxurious hotel. We had a high room facing Mt. Fuji but alas, never managed to grab a glimpse of it. Extremely convenient hotel with plenty of transportation options - close to 2 subway lines and a shuttle bus (5-10mins) to shinjuku for other connections. My son love the lift which faces Shinjuku but had an un-obstructed view...

The staffs are friendly & helpful. Room is very cosy & clean. Bathroom's kind of small but we are in Tokyo so we can't complain. Conveniently located, there is a 7-11, restaurants & pubs at the basement right next to the hotel. Walk further into the subway tunnel & somewhere in the middle, there's a turnoff that leads to more...

The hotel is perfectly located to enjoy the sights of this amazing city. Staying in Shinjuku

Neighbourhood Profile
Shinjuku
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
