The room was very spacious on par with the best of U.S. hotels. The bathroom was adequate but there was not very much space to store our personal grooming equipment which was common to all of the rooms we stayed in Japan (and a lot of other hotels). The Toto toilet seat was very refreshing and we're thinking of getting...

Second stay at this hotel and its still an excellent choice. The location is 5 minute walk from shinjuku station. Ask for a room in the upper half of the towers and you will also have an amazing view from the room. The hotel is not for people ona tight budget but also not too expensive considering what you get....

A stone throw away from the famous shinjuku station ( 5 min walk ). A rather grand hotel with many entrances.. Across the road is the Metropolitan Government Office. Friendly Airport Limousine ( coach ) that cost mere ¥1,230 ( Haneda Airport to hotel ). On your departure date you can buy your bus ticket next to the concierge counter....

Stayed for 7 nights. The hotel gave us great options for our breakfast and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. The hotel was located in a nice part of Shinjuku so going to the stations was easy (there's a new, fast access to Shinjuku station and Tochomae station was right outside) as well...

Staying in Shinjuku

Neighbourhood Profile
Shinjuku
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
