With two tall towers in the heart of Shinjuku, right on the edge of the skyscraper sector, Keio Plaza is a fantastic central location. The rooms are comfortable, many with great views over Tokyo. The hotel has a range of restaurants and cafes, a convenience store, a range of gift shops, childcare, karaoke rooms, bar all in house. The service...

In the end, a friend recommended Keio to us and we manged to book a room. The hotel is around 10-minute walk to the Shinjuku subway station, which we found it to be very convenient. It is also...

This Hotel plaza is in a very very good location, a block away from Shinjuku, and Shinjuku station, three stops away and you are in Shibuya so, the reason of my 5 stars is location. Rooms are standard and also depends a lot on what floor you get, we were given floor 12th so there wasn't much of a view,...

Pros: Within 10mins walking distance from Shinjuku station. Staff very helpful. Decent size rooms for Tokyo/all essential toiletries provided. Free WFI. Cons: Earliest check in time is 14:00 so don't turn up too early. Breakfast/food very expensive however there are plenty of eating options by Shinjuku train station.

Stayed last week of March. Friendly staff. Lots of choices for breakfast you have three restaurants to choose from. Clean, adequately sized and comfortable room. Wifi was fast too. Shinjuku station and shopping area is just walking distance from the hotel. There were also lots of restaurants nearby serving authentic Japanese food.

Staying in Shinjuku

Neighbourhood Profile
Shinjuku
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
