We stayed here for 4 nights and had a great stay. Good location with only a short walk from Shinjuku station (take the East exit). The hotel is in a perfect spot if you want to explore Shinjuku and is right next to plenty of eateries and attractions. We would stay here again due to the convenience and the friendly...

I stayed here with my Daughter for a few days in January, the location is great, the snow was even better, The Hotel was fine for what it is, a place to sleep after a day on the slopes, the places to eat are limited, the food is Ok, just about. For the accomodation we had a family room that...

I was here for 4 days and 3 nights. Overall my experience was very average, rather poor. I would describe shinjuku prince hotel as an old hotel actually. Some of the staffs were really friendly and helpful but the language barrier made it difficult to communicate. Most of them can only speak english a little. The room was very small...

Don't risk your holiday by getting sick at this hotel. The cleanliness of the hotel was disgraceful. The floor was never vacuumed during our three night stay and there was dirt/dust left in all the corners of the room like the cleaning maids didn't bother to use the small attachment on their vacuum. They never dusted the counters and left...

We stayed for 4 nights in October as a family of four. One of the busiest areas in town, it is still comparably quiet. Shopping and nightlife options all around. Rooms as small as you now them from japan Hotels, but cleand and comfy. You have to walk 3-4 minutes to SHinjuku station to get around within Tokyo. The reviews...

Good : 1. Bed and pillow 2. sound proof from traffic 3. Bathtub 4. self clean toilet 5. Space for luggage under the beds. 6. 5-10 min walk from JR Shinjuku East station. But not easy to navigate through the massive network to find the correct exit. 7. Allow to store our luggage between our 2 separate stays. Bad: 1....

This hotel is a short walk from Shinjuku station as long as you know which exit to leave from. Others reviewers on here have mentioned which exit, but it would be super helpful if the hotel listed that on its website. Our first journey from the station to the hotel was 2-3 times longer because we took the wrong exit....

Fantastic hotel with a great location. The place is nearby to lots of eateries and shopping. Can do, Uniqlo, Muiji are all in the same building! Train station is also a stone throw away. Hotel staffs are friendly too, they also converse in many languages. The room is typical of Tokyo rooms, small unless you are prepare to pay a...

The Prince is located in the heart of Shinjuku, in the same building as a train station. Adjacent across the road is a McDonalds and there are nearby Family Marts to buy snacks. However the standard rooms are tiny. I could not find space to open my big luggage bag! There was no kettle but rooms are equiped with a...

Staying in Shinjuku

Neighbourhood Profile
Shinjuku
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
