This hotel is perfect if spending a few nights in Tokyo and want to see as many attractions as possible. It's only 5 minutes from Akenbonobashi subway Station and then 2 stops into Shinjuku station which is the main transfer hub for travelling to practically anywhere else in Tokyo. There are three convenience stores very close to the hotel as well as a Wendy's and a couple of other small eateries.
The hotel rooms are smallish but that's Japan! Rooms are clean and bathroom is spotless. Bed not the most comfortable but wasn't a huge problem. Breakfast also not brilliant but you get what you pay for.
Clean towels were provided every day as well as bottles of water. In the lobby there is a table with extra toiletries, robes, razors, combs etc, and there's a washing machine and dryer, and vending machine with a huge selection of drinks.
We had a slight problem with the air con and this was fixed straight away.

Excellent location with convenient stores such as Lawson, 7eleven and restaurants just beside the hotel. Akebonobashi Metro station is about 5 min walk from the hotel.
Room is clean but size is small as expected in Japan.

I stayed here for one night in their single room. The bed was very roomy for a single. The wifi worked with no issues. The bathroom had a bath tub and shower and good water pressure. There was even a bathrobe and slippers provided.

The location is also next to some convenient stores and restaurants. It is also several minutes walk on flat surface from the metro station.

I would stay here again if I need to be in the area.

Very small but ok and clean, fine for one person for five nights. Quite far from centre of Shinjuku though, about an half hour walk. Very close to train station, some good restaurants and laundromat. Staff were friendly and helpful where possible with limited English.

We were traveling around Tokyo with big luggages, so to start with, the Akebonobashi train station doesn't have lifts at all the levels (especially one going up to the street level) - so be warned if you are traveling with big bags like us for you will only be able to take staircases. Otherwise, distance from the train station to the hotel is actually pretty decent.

In terms of the property itself, we feel there are other alternatives out there which can be better options. First of all, the hotel feels cheap: they will give you key cards folded in paper (!), they will also ask you to place a paper sticker on room slippers (I am guessing because they are trying to save on giving guests slippers) and rooms are way smaller than what we expected. Hotel check out is at 10am which is pretty early too. Meanwhile, if you think you can travel around Shinjuku easily by staying here - you'll be disappointed. Akebonobashi is situated at Shinjuku line but you will still have to take train to explore the area unless you are willing to walk for 20-30 mins to the shopping areas.

The hotel was pretty good - it was very clean and the staff were professional and helpful. The hotel is located close to Akebonobashi station which makes it quite easy to access. There are laundry facilities in the lobby of the hotel. The location could be better.

I didn’t like this hotel. The only good thing about it is its location. Room is really small. Bed is not comfortable. TV has only channels in Japanese. Breakfast is simple, no juice etc. I would not stay there again. On the other hand staff is helpful; however they should always moro e their English.

Absolutely fantastic hotel in Tokyo. Super clean, with great amenities and a fantastic location within walking distance to three subway lines. The rooms are smaller and you only get one pillow but that’s standard for Tokyo. Beds are comfortable and staff are friendly. I really cannot sing the praises of this hotel enough.

This is a great little Business Hotel in the neighborhood of Akebonobashi, just two stops away from the main Shinjuku Station in Tokyo, we had two single rooms and it was perfect for us, we stayed our first night of arrival in Japan before heading south to Kyushu and we returned at the end of our trip, the beds were a bit too firm for my liking but we really enjoyed the little street it was located in as it was the only hotel and the street was filled with restaurants, clothing stores, convenience stores and pharmacy, it was nice not being in a very commercial area and there were a lot of apartments surrounding us, definitely recommend and we will stay again next year

I had to extend my stay in Tokyo due to Typhoon Hagabis, it was a struggle to find somewhere to stay, which is why I ended up here paying the same price for one night (21,000 yen) as for the following three nights combined!

I arrived at 10am and staff stored my luggage. I could not go out, it was too dangerous in the storm, so I sat in the somewhat cheerless lounge, which has only a few places to sit, to wait for check in at 3pm. They let me have the room by 1pm, which was very welcome.

It's a fairly basic hotel conveniently located less than a 5 minute walk from Akebonobashi subway station, 2 stops from Shinjuku main station. It's in a quiet small street with many shops and restaurants. Rooms are quite small, 2 single beds just about fills the room and there is nowhere to store luggage. It would be a big squeeze for two people with two suitcases. You get a kettle and a tiny fridge, but no spoon to stir your free tea with! Good sized TV, but only gets the 7 basic channels, nothing in English. Bathroom is also small but very adequate. Room is serviced daily. Beds are a little hard. Aircon is whisper quiet, and, unusually for a hotel room, main ceiling light is very bright. As usual in Japan, this is a very clean hotel.

Free wifi was actually quite fast although it did drop out periodically.

Not impressed with the buffet breakfast. Twice a week you get mild curry & rice, otherwise it's Miso soup, always hot. This is the best part of breakfast because the Western cooked food, sausage, powdered scrambled egg, breaded fish cakes and gooey cheese, is always tepid at best, and can be almost cold. Get to breakfast at opening time of 7am if you want it warm. There is also salad. They have a toaster! No fresh fruit or orange juice. Great coffee, and you can take an extra cup back to your room!

Staff very helpful during my stay.
