The hotel is clean and tidy, just bit far to the metro station, but you can transport between Ginza station with bus, the bus stop is just outside the hotel and need around 15 minutes to try to the Ginza station. It is next to the Minji garden and you can watch red leafs there in autumn. There are not... More

We stayed in the Studio Premier room (31 sqm) for 8 nights recently. The staff that I interacted with throughout my stay, were all helpful, polite and spoke good English. The room looked like the photos in their website, WiFi was excellent, many shelves and cupboards to store our stuff. Not-so-perfect aspects: 1. Pillows were too soft for my liking.... More

I am spending my third night in this hotel as I write this. I chose it because I wanted to be close to the Shinjuku train station, and it was an attractive choice on booking.com. The staff is very courteous as expected in Japan. My room is spacious, with a queen bed that is not too hard, sofa, desk, TV,... More

We booked a triple sharing room but was disappointed within a smaller than expected room. I read many reviews that the room is large by Tokyo standard hence the expectations. We have 3 luggages but there was no space to place 2 medium sized luggages except along the kitchen aisle, partially blocking the wardrobe.

I stayed at this hotel with a group of football players and was pleasantly surprised. The rooms were a decent size and had a kitchenette which came in handy. TV with various channels. They were cleaned to a good standard everyday. The staff on reception were very friendly and helpful. The laundry facility was DIY which I thought was a... More

The Citadines is a pleasant apartment, it is about 7min away from the subway or about 20min walk to Shinjuku station. It's is not in the center and mayhem of Shinjuku bit close enough if you want to go there. The hotel was clean and the staff very helpful, we picked this place as we had to cook some food... More

My family and I recently stayed at this hotel in Shinjuku. Its apartment style accommodation and offers a good size room and facilities compared with other Japanese hotels I have stayed at. We booked two rooms, one for my wife and I and another for our two sons. The rooms have comfortable large beds, TV with heaps of channels, kitchen... More

Room was small but perfectly formed with kitchenette, good bathroom, sofa and double bed. No view from our room but didn't matter to us. Kitchen meant we could store breakfast stuff. Highly recommended.

My wife and I, together with another couple, are very happy to have stayed in your hotel. It is very reasonably priced, beautiful, quiet, clean and tidy and has a kitchenette. Your staff are very friendly and helpful, especially Mikiko of front desk. It is conveniently located in a nice, quiet neighborhood near a train station, restaurants and convenience stores... More

Staying in Shinjuku

Neighbourhood Profile
Shinjuku
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
