I stayed in this hotel for a night with my 3 teenage children. We share 2 double beds between 4 of us. I didn't mind the space of the room , as all the essential facilities were there . Nice and clean room. We arrived late night at 1:30am due to airline delay and missing baggages but the receptionist was...

Good price in the center of Tokyo. The place is quiet but short distance to JR lines and restaurants. Comparing to other hotel that I stayed (One is near Ropponggi and one is in Hamacho), it's easier for food finding and food are a bit cheaper. Check in time is 4 pm., staff are friendly, helpful, and English communicable. They...

The hotel located at Shin-Okubo station which is the JR Yamanote line ( loop line run in circle direction ). From the station, walk for about 5 minutes. The hotel is very convenient, clean and comfortable. The staff clean the room while you are away, too.

Stayed here with 2 mates from the 18th to the 20th of Jan 2017. Was looking for a cheap place to sleep cause we'll be outdoors all the times, so wasn't expecting much from this hotel. But surprisingly it was good, booked a triple room but got upgraded to a bigger room, i guess the family room on the 4th...

We don't spend a lot of time in any hotel room we stay in so I'm not particularly picky. What's crucial is a hotel's location, and this one's just right. Just a couple of minutes' walk to a JR station and cheap but good restaurants, Empire Hotel is everything you need for an adventure in Tokyo. It's clean and has...

we have stayed in this majestic hotel for 3 nights. The hotel is superb the rooms were large the service is perfect so many restaurants and possibilities. There is always somebody to assist you and a huge verity of restaurants and food. The only problem was on Sunday morning to enter the breakfast buffet as the queue is too long...

I would like to second my friend Marie N who wrote a review also for this hotel - we stayed here for 10 nights at the end of September. What we found great: - Good Value more money - Great transport links its 2 minutes from a JR Yamote line station and a 15 walk from Shinjuku station. - There...

Beautiful hotel in a great setting. Only stopped in for afternoon tea and would highly recommend staying there. Excellent level of service and very handy location for getting around the city. Close to open spaces.

I've read so much comments before I get here. They're mostly said that this hotel is quite dirty, and too small toilet. But here I come with clean room, and they made up room as I requested. Everything goes well, but just the tiny toilet. Anyway, I think this hotel is acceptable. Good price, good service.

Whilst I agree with other reviewers that this hotel is a little run down I felt that it was extremely good value for the price that we payed. The hotel's location is great, it's a 2 minute walk from a JR station and about 15 minutes from Shinjuku station which is really handy if you want to visit not only...

Staying in Shinjuku

Neighbourhood Profile
Shinjuku
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
