Visited Shinjuku with my wife and 2kids. The place is clean and bathroom are nice. The space is ideal for the family. Would definitely stay again. New room with modern touch. Accessible to 24 hour shops.

We were looking for a decent unit in Shinjuku to accommodate our family of 4 for a short 3 night stay in Tokyo. NUTS listed a room for 4 on a few (not all) online sites, but I couldn't find any photos to confirm. Reviewers seemed to think it was OK; my daughter who teaches/lives in rural Japan vouched for...

We stayed here during the Christmas holidays and I was a bit weary as it was lower in cost than most Tokyo hotels - BUT... we were very pleasantly surprised! The room we had was about a block from the building with the front desk but it was quite roomy (double the size of another one we stayed in back...

Family of 4 sharing traditional room. Fun as first experience from normal western room. Clean and comfortable. Located very well as close to Tokyo metro and Shinjuku. Many great authentic restaurant options.

The hotel was very comfortable and tidy, very friendly staff, 24/7 front desk. We stayed in the double bed room which was comfortable for two and had a very nice bathroom with plenty of hot water. Location was a little further from Shinjuku than I thought but the Metro is very close and easy, also very close is the excellent...

Hotel is right on the center of Shinjuku. Subway station half block away. Friendly staff and they speak a little bit of english. Now to the rooms, very small and kind of run down. We got charge more online reservation than what the local rate was. Overall it's ok, I rather spend my money on another things than at the...

Staying in Shinjuku

Neighbourhood Profile
Shinjuku
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
