The hotel is in walking distance to the train station Shinjuku in a very busy quarter, especially at nights. The hotel is surrounded by a lot of restaurants but some "establishements" as well (at least it looks like). At the bottom of the hotel is a small convenience store, on the first level a restaurant and on the second level...

The rates is higher for the value you will get from your stay. The location is perfect as it's walking distance from Shinjuku rest and only about 10 minutes walk. Being closed to red light district, Central Citadines still gives you safety, security and comfortable stay in term of noise disturbance. it's good if you stay single or max. couples....

Loacation - I was able to ask a very helpful tripadvisor member for tips on how to go to the hotel from Shinjuku station. The hotel is around 10 minutes walk from there. Shopping and foods are abundant in the area. Although the hotel is in the red light district, I don't feel bothered at all. But I don't recommend...

The hotel is easy to find from Shinjuku station if you are arriving by train. Take the south exit from the station and turn to the left and go down the escalator. You will see a green building with "Green Peas" signage - take the narrow street along the right of this building and walk for about 10 minutes (3...

Good location but street outside hotel is very busy. In evening not so suitable for traveler with kids as this hotel is in the Red Light district of Shinjuku. Parking is not so convenient. Only 1 restaurant in hotel but there are many restaurants near the hotel.

This hotel has some reviews that made me a little nervous, but after staying here for 3nights I have nothing bad to say about this hotel or its location in fact I think it's location is perfect if you want to be in the thick of it all, the rooms were spotless (small but you expect that) and the amenities...

Very clean and well located for metro and the throbbing nightlife across the road. Well appointed rooms but, as seems normal in Japan, not big for 2 people and 2 suitcases. Reasonably priced for standard and location.

We booked the deluxe room. The rooms were a little on small side especially for our son and family with a cot in the room. It took us 10 minutes to get to the train station. staff very helpful with our tour bookings. Check out was at 11am. Our luggage was stored while we checked our more sites. We had...

Having stayed at the Citadines Suzhou, PRC, it seemed an obvious choice to stay at Citadines Central Shinjuku. We were not disappointed. The hotel were very welcoming, and our twin bed studio room was excellent. We had paid for the breakfast to be included and thought this was good value for money and unlike many medium sized hotels, never had...

Double standard room was small but not uncomfortable, perfect for a couple. Bathrooms were a good size & hotel was always clean. Great location, however there are a lot of adult bars along the entrance street but that is quite common in Shinjuku. Nonetheless the area was safe & comfortable to walk through at night. The hotel is very quiet...

Staying in Shinjuku

Neighbourhood Profile
Shinjuku
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
