First of all, location wise is just average. This hotel is located at the opposite side of all the action happening in Shibuya. You have to cross an overhead bridge to get to the other side where all the shopping and restaurants are. The hotel is also located in the middle of an upslope. You can take the airport limousine...

Very happy with my stay here for 2 weeks. I enjoyed it so much that my parents will be staying here when they go to Japan later this year. I highly reccomend this be your first choice when looking for accomodation in Tokyo - from Aussie traveler.

I frequently stay in shibuya but this is the first time at this hotel. While any hotel in shibuya demands a premium price, this hotel is pricing itself in the wrong category. It is a 3 star hotel charging 4 star prices, and has a bit of an amateur vibe about it. Cheap feeling, dimly lit rooms that were decorated...

The hotel's location is near hachiko and the station. The rooms are small so we paid extra for an upgrade to a bigger room. Small selection for the breakfast. Everything was ok until check out, we thought check out was 12:00 pm and front desk was charging us extra for the extension. Other hotels are happy to give late check...

I loved the location of this hotel! It's super close to the JR line and Shibuya station. There's a lot of restaurants and a family mart close by! Yes, the hotel is a little worn (especially the elevator) but our room was very clean and comfortable!! As a couple, stayed in a modern double for five nights, it had a...

The Granbell Hotel in Shibuya was ideal for our 2 night stay. It was about a 10min walk from Shibuya station. There are lots of little side streets in the area so we needed google maps to find it but that was easy enough. We arrived at lunch time so were too early to check in (check in time is...

The hotel is 5 minutes walk from Shibuya metro station, the room compare to Japan was quite big and modern. The stuff was able to speak in English and very helpful. The location was just great! close to the famous Shibuya crossing and all the shops and famous brands. The price was totally worth it!

I went to Japan on a last second trip for my company and decided to give a Japanese hotel company a try. Being accustomed to American branded Hilton hotels this hotel was a little small however, it was WONDERFUL! I totally understand the limitations and this room made the most of what space it had. I wasn't exactly sure about...

3 nights here was a great base for exploring the city. 5 min walk to the crazy Shibuya crossing and station, means that most of wild Tokyo is easily accessible. Room is very small, but comfortable and has all the needed amenities for a good stay. Bathroom little larger than comparable hotels we stayed in which was a welcome change....

This hotel is the perfect hotel to stay in if you're in your late teens / early 20s and are just looking for a bed for the night close to all of the party action. The rooms are absolutely tiny - and there was no space to open my 24" suitcase, or to hang any clothes. The room was poorly...

Staying in Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu

Neighbourhood Profile
Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu
There are countless opportunities to shop in the Shibuya and Harajuku districts, especially in shops that focus on Japan's "Kawaii" culture. The trendiest areas are around Shibuya’s Center district, Harajuku's Takeshita-dori and in Omotesando. If you need to recharge from all the shopping, you can easily refresh yourself in Meiji Jingu or Sasaki Park. In contrast, Ebisu has a more grown up ambiance of calm and cool. At the Museum of Yebisu Beer you can learn about the beer that was responsible for the town’s name, and enjoy dining at the popular noodle shops in the surrounding area.
