This was the 3rd hotel we stayed at our our trip to Japan, the second 'b' hotel and it was on a par with Kobe. The room was no smaller than we expected, for a Tokyo hotel and we found it quite comfortable. The breakfast was fine, there was a fairly Western option in scrambled eggs, small Frankfurter type sausages...

I have stayed this hotel for 4 times. The room is small but it is really clean and convinient. There is an convinience store at the basement floor and also an drug store and Seiyu;shoping centre within 5 min walk, so I could enjoy shopping without going to Shibuya. I could access internet via wifi in my room.

One of the more decent pricing hotel. Walking distance to the train station. Lots of eateries and a supermarket nearby. Although the room is small, but it is sufficient enough for 2 pax. Only problem is that the staff speaks little english and at time, communication could be a problem.

Dear Jeffery G Thank you for your opinion regarding our hotel. As you have already mentioned we are located just a few minute walk from the Sangenjaya station. As we were planning our trip to Tokyo, we wanted to explore different parts of the city and Sangenjaya proofed to be a very good place to start off with. The area is very youthful but not in terms of crazy Akihabara or Shibuya. There are lots of little bars and shops and Ramen restaurants. Houses are relatively low rise...

I stayed 11 nights in The B Sangenjaya in July 2014. You are probably looking at The B because you are looking for an inexpensive hotel that's clean and reasonably close to the action. It delivers mostly on that deal. As a frequent traveller to Tokyo, I prize closeness to a station as you get everywhere in this city by...

This hotel is in a nice neighbourhood, with many local restaurants and bars. 10 minutes from Shibuya by subway and the station is very close. the only downside is that rooms are very tiny, but I guess it is common for budget hotels in Japan.
