I've been travelling around Japan from Tokyo to Okinawa and have been to a lot of guest houses, Yoshida house is definitely the best you can find in Tokyo. Rent is cheap, rooms are confortables (tv, wifi, tatamis, big windows, big closet, ac, sink...), the manager is very friendly and helpful, the garden is really enjoyable for relaxing or BBQ...

When i called the place a girl answered. She was the manager or something. Super unprofessional. But i didn't mind. When i arrived a guy from Pakistan or something received me. Very kind. But when I walked into the room everything changed. The place is old and filled with rubbish everywhere outside. The room I was in had a cockroach...

We came at Yoshida House for two weeks twice. It's a great place, convenient and cheap. It's very nice to meet and share moments with everybody. Hikki the manager is so nice and helpful. We recommend warmly !

Together with a good friend of mine we booked a twin-room for a month. The room is a good size for two people, we had enough space for four suitcases and al the stuff we bought over the month we stayed there. The utilities are also good, the room has a air-conditioner that can make the room nice and cold...

If you're looking for a peaceful, cosy, old-Japan type of communal living experience with friendly, eclectic people, look no further! I recently spent three months at Yoshida, and would highly recommend the spot. I loved the sacred garden outside my room and ease of living in a quiet suburb not far from Central Tokyo. The housemates are respectful and always...

This house was one of the first built after the bombing of Tokyo...which means that it has that old country tatami mat feel right in the middle of the Tokyo Megaopolis. Incredible experience, incredible people, we absolutely love Mrs. Hikari Horan, good central location (for metros, grocery shopping, etc.), great kitchen, great family, great area (gardens, schools, neighborhoods...the real Japan).

I've stayed at Yoshida House every year for a month at a time for the past 4 years and I absolutely adore it. It really has become a home away from home for me. The manager of the house, Hikari-san is such an incredibly nice person and will go out of her way to make sure you have a good...

I would like to start off by saying that the strange guests mentioned in previous reviews have all gone now. It's just quiet polite young Japanese people staying here now... and me. (^-^) I have been coming to Yoshida House on and off for 2 years now and I have to say it's an absolutely fantastic place to stay. It...

I stayed at Yoshida House some years ago but I remember it very welll. It was not the best place I stayed in but certainly not the worst either. The shower was the main problem for me, only one shower for 18 rooms and you had to pay 1 dollar for about 8-9 minutes hot water. And when you came...

I stayed at Yoshida House for more than one year. It is a cheap place, where people come and go and there are always interesting and fun people to spend time with. I met crazy guys who'd spend all their time in front of the TV farting and stealing food, professionals who would go out teaching in the morning all...
