Obviously, there are a lot of options in Tokyo. I have struggled with the choice of staying at the ubiquitous 'mainline' hotels (Hilton, Starwood, etc) with their 'predictable' but western-friendly environment, vs. staying 'local' at a more traditional Japanese hotel (where I sometimes miss the usual 'amenities' like the 'Western breakfast'. There is only so much Miso soup I can... More

Thank you very much for staying with us at Park Hotel Tokyo. We are very happy to hear that you had a great stay and you liked our room amenities. There is sometimes diffeiculty making the restaurant reservations for Hanasansho (Japanese) and Tateru Yoshino (French) because they have Michelin stars, but they have special menus for the hotel guests and... We spent 3 nights in Tokyo which was our stopover from US to HK. Since we didn't look into lodging earlier, we missed many of the promotion deals for many hotels. The rate for this hotel was not inexpensive but we felt we got what we paid for. We're somewhat familiar with the small room size in major cities and... More

Thank you very much for staying with us at Park Hotel Tokyo and your feedback is much appreciated. Even though our rooms are not large enough for our guests from out side of Japan, we are glad that your room was quite spacious and you were able to have relaxing time even you had jet lag. It's unusual for reception to be on the 25th floor of a hotel, but what a view you have from there. We stayed for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. All staff including reception, concierge and bellboys were efficient, friendly, polite and extremely helpful. Our room on the 29th floor had outstanding views of the city skyline and the... More

We stayed at the park hotel toyko for the first leg of our honeymoon. The hotel is perfect for a business trip- its near The subway and offices- but i wouldnt recommend the hotel for a pleasure/leisure trip. The hotel has a decidedly corporate feel to it. We found it to be out of the way of many of the... More

Once again, congratulation on your wedding and we were very pleased to have you here for your honeymoon. Especially on winter season, you may have a beautiful view of Mt. Fuji from our hotel. We spent one week holidays with my wife and daughter at the Park Hotel Tokyo. Rooms are not big, but we guess that this is Tokyo. Everything is clean and in order. We had a great 5 night stay at the Park Hotel Tokyo. The rooms are small - but to be expected of Tokyo. Everything was clean, modern, well maintained and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful in booking dinner reservations, making recommendations, etc. The location is unbeatable. Spent New Years 2014 in the Park Hotel. Nice place with very helpful staff and a great view of Tokyo. This hotel is so convenient - subway just downstairs and the monorail to Tokyo Bay just next door. The view to the Tokyo Tower from the Lobby is amazing too. For a small fee, they can even organize a shuttle bus from the hotel to the Airport. Had some issues with the key card but overall the service is exceptional.

Our arrival at Park Hotel was disappointing. After a late night taxi ride from the airport, we arrived to find an office tower in near darkness. Staying in Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi

Neighbourhood Profile
Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi
Odaiba is an entertainment hotspot with a giant ferris wheel, concert halls, amusement arcades and lots of shopping. It also boasts Oedo-onsen-monogatari, a hotspring that recreates old Edo-era ambiance and is very popular with foreign visitors. Shiodome has ultra-modern office buildings where you can often find restaurants with a great high-rise view of Tokyo. The neighboring area of Shinbashi is a district of much older commercial buildings and it's a great place to join 'salary men' enjoying a drink and snacks at street stalls under the railway bridges after work.
