Neighbourhood
Shinagawa, Gotanda
In Shinagawa, an office district shares space with luxury residential buildings and the scene is constantly changing with rapid development. Ikedayama park and Togoshi park are great places to see beautiful traditional Japanese gardens with ponds, as well as enjoy the changing seasons. Shinagawa was a post and a port town during the Edo era and the lavish old Shinto shrines and Buddhist temples at Shinagawa and Ebara are very popular. It's a great place to get in touch with the old Edo atmosphere on a pleasure boat cruising along the canal. The neighboring area around Gotanda station is a study in modern contrasts filled with unique restaurants and a lively nightlife.

I have stayed at this hotel many times. The location, near Shinagawa station, is convenient with many restaurants nearby. The hotel itself is off the main road so it is amazingly quiet, especially if you are facing the garden behind the hotel. The rooms are of a good size and

Encircled by beautiful Japanese gardens, complete with goldfish pond, waterfalls, temple and rose bushes, this hotel hardly feels as if it sits in the middle of Tokyo. From the moment of arrival, the staff - all bi-lingual or semi-bilingual - made our stay remarkable. The

Near the Shinagawa station, up a little road, almost hidden away in the surroundings lies this hotel. At first, I thought, well this is quite away from all the action but that changed after a day in Tokyo but more on that later. The hotel is clean and quiet. Sure the decor in

Our stay at the Prince Sakura in Tokyo was very enjoyable. The hotel is quite close to Shinagawa station, a major train/metro hub in Tokyo, about a 7-10 minute walk from the station. We took the express train from Narita straight to Shinagawa station and a short walk with our

How far is the hotel from the Narita Airport???
How far is the hotel from the Narita Airport???
Narita is 1.5 hours from down town. The best way to get to Tokyo is the Narita Express. Less than an hour from Tokyo Station. Grab a cab, or if adventurous take the train.

The Shinagawa station is basically across the street from the hotel, for what that’s worth. I’m not aware of a hotel shuttle, but Haneda is a 20 minute cab ride or 10 on the train.

Hello! I just came back from Japan yesterday. It is an easy walk. Follow the Takanawa Exit (West exit) sign in the station and take righ. Don’t go over the pedestrian overpass with your luggage (stairs for nothing). Instead, go on your right. You will pass a game room, a florist, a pharmacy and cross the street at the light near the Seven Eleven. Continue on that street for 2 minutes and thé hôtel is there on the left side. Easy Easy! Have a nice trip! You will love it. We loved the Prince Sakura.
