I had chosen this hotel mainly because of it’s proximity to the exhibition centre Big Sight where I am attending an exhibition for business purposes. There are a few intercontinental properties in Tokyo, most would be classify as “budget 5-star luxury” Arriving I arrived late at night and took a cab from Haneda airport to the hotel. The hotel seems...

After staying in Business hotels all over Japan, our stay at the Intercon was flawless. I come for the Hotel industry and have very high standards all of which the hotel excelled in. Everyone right from the Doorman, Bell Desk, Reception, Housekeeping and Restaurants provided us something to remember during our 5 night stay in this hotel. I highly recommend...

I stayed here for a conference over a week. The service was wonderful, including organising free use of attached pool. The young lady at the travel desk was extremely helpful. I had amazing views out over the bay with beautiful lights of the Ferris wheel. A very central location.

As part of our tour across Japan, we had the opportunity to stay at the Intercontinental Tokyo Bay. Intercontinental is great all around. Even before the trip, our conversations with Concierge to get recommendations and make restaurant reservations have been superb. The concierge team, especially Jovette, is super attentive and helpful. I requested a reservation months in advanced. However, the...

We stayed for 4 nights at the end of our 12 day holiday. We booked via British Airways as part of our holiday/ flight. Breakfast was pre paid. I chose it for the location and ease of getting back to Haneda for the flight home. And of course the views. We arrived from Kyoto on the Shinkansen, to Shinagawa, and...

Located next to the water, this hotel offers exceptional view of Tokyo Bay (ask for room with a view of the bay). In addition to the view, this hotel offers best service I've ever experienced, from all the people help you to get into the elevator, to the FIVE staffs who came to set up the rollaway bed. I've not...

Located right across the bay from the Tokyo Cruise Terminal, the hotel is a perfect choice for before or after a cruise. However, if you plan to stay in Tokyo for several days, it's a bit isolated. The hotel itself is well run and well kept. I would rate this as a 4 1/2 star hotel, just below the Four...

Our family really loved our visit. The room had an incredible view of the rainbow bridge. The concierge was also extremely friendly and informative of all of the restaurants and shopping centers. This hotel was very close to subway stations (~5 min walk) and to the Tsukiji fish market. What was most memorable, however, was the breakfast buffet. All the...

The staff at Tokyo Bay really went out of their way to ensure we had a good experience, including Jovette at the concierge. We were upgraded to a corner room and they helped connect two different reservations for us no problem without switching rooms, and they helped make us reservations at Kyubey Sushi. I was a bit worried this would...

I had a 6 nights stay at Intercon Tokyo Bay. From the moment I entered the hotel till the time I exit, I enjoyed every bit of it. The location was perfect, the staff was friendly and the comfort was absolute. I had a view of the rainbow bridge from my room which I cherished a lot. I loved the...

Staying in Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi

Neighbourhood Profile
Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi
Odaiba is an entertainment hotspot with a giant ferris wheel, concert halls, amusement arcades and lots of shopping. It also boasts Oedo-onsen-monogatari, a hotspring that recreates old Edo-era ambiance and is very popular with foreign visitors. Shiodome has ultra-modern office buildings where you can often find restaurants with a great high-rise view of Tokyo. The neighboring area of Shinbashi is a district of much older commercial buildings and it's a great place to join 'salary men' enjoying a drink and snacks at street stalls under the railway bridges after work.
