Shinagawa, Gotanda
In Shinagawa, an office district shares space with luxury residential buildings and the scene is constantly changing with rapid development. Ikedayama park and Togoshi park are great places to see beautiful traditional Japanese gardens with ponds, as well as enjoy the changing seasons. Shinagawa was a post and a port town during the Edo era and the lavish old Shinto shrines and Buddhist temples at Shinagawa and Ebara are very popular. It's a great place to get in touch with the old Edo atmosphere on a pleasure boat cruising along the canal. The neighboring area around Gotanda station is a study in modern contrasts filled with unique restaurants and a lively nightlife.

The hotel was booked for us by a tour company clearly trying to save money. I think the two of us were booked into a room intended for single people rather than couples. We were cramped and grateful not to spend more than two nights here. The staff at the hotel were lovely

If all you want is a place to put your head down to sleep, this hotel is fine. Don’t expect much more, they don’t provide breakfast or any amenities. We booked a superior double room hoping for a bit more than a shoebox and were disappointed that it wasn’t much more. It is a

First how to get here: If you stay here you should think strongly about landing at Haneda Airport. If you take the Keikyu line from the airport to Shinagawa station the cost one way is 410 Yen with a trip lasting 12 minutes if you take an express line. (In this case it is the

Hi, I am sorry but I don't have an email address for them. I made my reservations through Agoda and never dealt directly with the hotel until I got there. I am also not certain they offer that kind of service. As far as I could tell none of the restaurants on site were related to the hotel. They are all independent as the building hosts others businesses.

Can the windows be opened when it gets too hot or stuffy in the room?
Hi Lauhui2. The room has aircon which serves as a heater during winter. If you do not like hot air, can turn down the thermostat to cold air.

Does the hotel have a swimming pool please?
Hi Lily, There are very adequate coin operated laundry rooms on many floors at the hotel. We stayed there in May/June and took full advantage. These rooms also have a microwave.
