Detailed Reviews
We loved Hotel East 21 Tokyo! Nightly price was very affordable, the amenities offered in the room was probably the best I've had for the price we paid. The room was always nice and tidy, and they always ended up refilling our shampoo/conditioner/body wash-- which was nice because in the U.S., you usually only just get that one travel size bottle. Some reviews complained that the hotel was too far from a metro station, but the walk really wasn't that bad. A big plus was that it was minutes away from a 711 and also inside a plaza. The staff was welcoming and accommodating. We were a party of 2 so we booked the small double room and I do want to point out that the space is very cozy but sufficient. Our room was also nice to have a city view of Tokyo. The hotel also offers shuttles to/from the airport and to/from Disney Sea/Disneyland for a fee, which was super convenient.

Hotel was lovely, good location with easy access to the subway just a short walk away. However there is a free courtesy bus to the subway they have an airport limo service and there is a bus that takes you straight to Sky Tree for a very small cost. Staff are all friendly and helpful and I was surprised how large the room was compared to other hotels. The best bit was the view from our window, stunning. Nothing was too much trouble and will definitely stay again

The hotel has a very dignified interior for this price range, and you can feel a special atmosphere.
The location is a bit of a walk from a major station, but
Perhaps it was worth it, as it is located in a relatively quiet location, away from the hustle and bustle in front of the station.
When you enter the hotel, everything from the lobby front to the elevator gives off a profound feeling (lol)
I had a suite room,
The hotel has been in business for over 30 years (?), so some parts are showing their age.
I thought it was kept clean and treated with respect.
I ate at a teppanyaki restaurant on the top floor of the hotel.
There is nothing to obstruct the sky tree, and you can slowly watch the sun go down.
The great thing about being able to eat elegantly while looking at the illuminations is
It was a blissful time unique to this hotel.
To propose to my girlfriend,
To all the staff, please respond to the detailed requests from the students.
I was deeply moved by the hospitality that I received.
Thank you for everything.
I look forward to visiting you on anniversaries, etc. in the future.
Thank you in advance for your understanding.

The staff at this property are amazing, service for my 2 night stay was outstanding. The room was a fair size for a single room. The breakfast was excellent! The WiFi was superb. Why I am not rating it 5? The location is a bit out but the train station is near enough. The gym is an additional payment and I think this should be included in a hotel stay and finally, only one English tv station which is CNN! In my view a hotel catering for international tourists should have a bit more than this on their television line up!

We stayed with three adults and two children aged 1 and 3.
The room was a family type, with three beds and a sofa, and there was plenty of space to spread out our luggage. If you contact us in advance, we can also install bed rails. In addition, the bathroom and toilet were separate, and there was a washing area in the bathroom, so we were grateful that we could relax in the bath even with our children.
The Skytree was very beautiful from the window of the room, and we enjoyed the view in the morning and at night.
The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of items. Even though we had different tastes, everyone was able to eat deliciously and fill their stomachs. When we told them our seating preferences, they responded promptly, and the next day, they had prepared seats according to our requests without us having to say anything, which was amazing! We were very happy.
The room cleaning staff was also very nice, and when we met them as we were leaving in the morning, they greeted us with a kind smile.
Access from Tokyo Station is a little inconvenient for people who are not used to it, but once you arrive, it is very comfortable.
As it is a good neighbor hotel to TDR, many people come for leisure, but the hotel always has a calm atmosphere and I think it is perfectly fine for business use as well.
I would like to use it again when I visit Tokyo. Thank you.

My partner and I stayed for 4 days 3 nights. I musy say ww had a very pleasant and wonderful stay here. They have free bus shuttles from Hotel to Toyocho station and Kinshico Station. So it was very easy to get around. They have free roundtrip bus shuttle from Hotel to Tokyo Disneyland and DisneySea, you just have to book your seat in advance with the reception. This saves you a lot of money and time. Price includes free buffet breakfast with a large option of international food and japanese food. They have english speaking staff with is great. And they keep you luggage free if you still want to go around tokyo while waiting for your airport transfers. They also have a large grocery store adjacent to the hotel bldg and restaurants. Overall it was superb and we had a great time. We will comeback next year

Thank you for your hospitality.
I stayed in room 1806, which had a separate toilet, a spacious washroom, a bathroom with a separate bathtub and shower, and a washing area, so it was very comfortable.
And the price of 28,000 yen is just too cheap.
I've stayed here a few times before, but I didn't know such nice rooms existed.
I'd like to stay in this room again next time.

Extremely well run and comfortable hotel on the Eastern side of the Tokyo main city centre. It's not on top of Shinjuku or Shibuya but that allows you to breathe a bit while walking the relatively short distance to the Metro to get to those manic areas. There is also a shuttle to Disney if you want to go the other way. There are any number of parks and open spaces around the hotel if you just want to kick back and enjoy the Sakura.
Reception is well looked after with quite competent multi-language understanding.
The breakfast buffet has a wide range of options, both western and eastern.
The rooms are extremely well appointed. We stayed in the Deluxe Double which had a very large bathroom, walk-in wardrobe (excellent for hiding your suitcases) and a separate seating area away from the bed, which was quite comfortable.
Metro is direct to near Tokyo Station and one stop to Shinjuku, Shibuya or Akihabara. We also took a taxi back from Teamlabs Borderless, which cost around Y4000 so that's not bad either as it was around 30 - 45 minutes at 10:30pm.

I stayed here on a business trip. The location is Toyocho, which is not particularly convenient, but the room size and quality are quite luxurious, despite the price being on par with that of a business hotel. You can choose from a selection of newspapers for free. There is also a rich breakfast buffet, with omelets and other dishes made fresh by the chef. The price is also cheaper than luxury hotels in Tokyo. It's worth the metro transfer. I use this hotel regularly. If you're a registered member, you can check in just by signing your name, which is great!

What did I like about the structure? Virtually everything. 4-star services and the aesthetics of the hotel were very refined and professional! We were given a room with a Skytree view, beautiful. Toothpaste, toothbrush, hair blade, hair ties and brush are already included in the bathroom kit and are changed every day. They also give you pajamas and slippers.
The position ? My boyfriend and I had no problem seeing all the tourist attractions from this hotel. There is a Tozai Line metro 13 minutes walk away, so for those who are not lazy to walk I would say it is a great choice, also there is a bus 3 minutes from the hotel which we used several times to go to other attractions tourist attractions (I recommend using Google Maps for travel which is very precise and reliable). Having said that, this hotel deserves full marks! It exceeded my expectations! I will definitely return
