It was my second stay at this hotel (over a span of 13 years) and here are my opinions:
1. The hotel is ideally located on top of a subway station, which is great; it is also connected with the Tokyo C Air Terminal (TCAT),...More
Very nice hotel of high standard. Rooms, equipment and service are perfect. It is a little bit expensive. I do not like that the restaurants all close early. The bar is closed early as well and for late arrival it is difficult to get food...More

Ginza is famous for being a trendy hotspot, but it's also a downtown area with shops that were founded over a hundred years ago. Department stores and luxury boutiques line the route from Nihonbashi to Ginza. It's a long established tradition to shop and stroll while the road is closed to traffic. Luxury hotels, world class cuisine from talented chefs, and a collection of glitzy clubs will make this area popular
2pm is guaranteed. I got my room at noon, a colleague already at 1100am. If you've got to wait a bit and want to beat the jetlag, walk to Kiyosumi Garden: A beautiful Japanese gardens, about 1.5km away.

Yes, it takes @10-12 min and @1,050 yen from JR Tokyo Station to the Royal Park Hotel by a Taxi. BTW, the hotel is built above the Suitengu station of Metro Hibiya Line, so it's convenient to take the subway for sightseeing.
