Location is great - walking distance to Metro Tokyo stations (Higashi- Ginza & Ginza stations), close to midrange and premium international brand shopping, diverse food choices around, convenience stores, breakfast at Denny's across the road from the hotel, airport shuttle although with charges but convenient. Medium sized rooms but comfy enough for 2 and a bit small for 3, well...

It’s not often that I’ll give 5 stars when a visit starts out bumpy, but here goes: I stay at the Courtyard Ginza frequently so I know the room layouts and had requested one of their larger rooms weeks in advance as I was staying with my family. My request was confirmed by room number. When we arrived, the room...

Just came back from a business trip to Japan. I booked this hotel mostly for its location but did not have high expectations, particularly it being a Courtyard (as opposed to a Marriott or a JW). How fool I was. The location of this hotel is unbeatable, close to two main subway lined and walking distance to Ginza stores and...

Upon check in was given free drink coupon good in hotel lounge for one glass wine, beer, coffee or tea. There's Lawson convenience store next door. Hotel within easy walking to Tsukiji fish market, Ginza shopping...

Easy walk from the subway station - walking distance to lots of shopping, Uniqlo, GU, Donki, department stores, Tsukiji Fish Market - spacious room (for Tokyo standards!) - you can take the bus to the airport right outside the hotel Hotel made a boo-boo with my luggage. We checked out early and went shopping. When I...

I generally have a hard time reviewing an hotel, because personal expectations makes up so much of how each person finds a hotel. Here is my perspective. I'm Premier Elite Marriott awards member, based in North America, but I have traveled extensively in Asia. I have stayed at some of the really great hotels in the Marriott chain, and this...

Simple and effective, and in a good location - but which hotel in Tokyo isn’t? (Such a great city to get around, and so many interesting places to see!) This hotel has picked up its game a little in the last few years; especially the breakfast seems to have improved. There is no executive lounge, which is a bit of...

My family of 5 (3 young boys) stayed 5 nights. We had connecting rooms with extra bed in one of the rooms. The rooms are a bit small but this is normal in Tokyo. The bathroom does not look very new but everything was in perfect state and very clean. Limited international TV channels. The beds are really, really comfortable,...

Ginza / Tokyo Nihonbashi
Ginza is famous for being a trendy hotspot, but it's also a downtown area with shops that were founded over a hundred years ago. Department stores and luxury boutiques line the route from Nihonbashi to Ginza. It's a long established tradition to shop and stroll while the road is closed to traffic.
