Stayed for 6 nights for our first visit to Tokyo. The hotel is in a perfect location, less than 10 minute walk from Tokyo station or the convenient Kyobashi station (Ginza line) is 30 second walk from front door. We had a great view of the main road out the front of the hotel. There is a 711 downstairs and a Komedas cafe in the same building which is wonderfully convenient. The room was spacious and despite Tokyo's reputation for shoebox sized hotel rooms, was pleasantly as large as any regular Western hotel room. Definitely get the twin beds for a couple as it's more space than a double/King. Bathroom was a great size, shower and bath seperate to the toilet and sink which was well designed. Huge TV but unfortunately no international channels (youtube available though). The only issue was the bed was extremely hard and so were the pillows. If you really cant sleep on firm mattresses, this will not be the choice for you. The coin laundry on our floor was extremely handy. We will definitely return to this hotel next time in Tokyo. Highly recommended.

We stayed here twice during our time in Tokyo. First for 5 nights then 2 more nights at the end of our vacation. Location is excellent 2 blocks from Tokyo station and steps to the Ginza line. Even though the neighborhood is in the center of Tokyo its very quiet and clean. There is a 7-11 connected to the building and 3 coffee shops within 1 block. We booked the standard twin room which was a little tight but we managed just fine. The beds are on the hard side which is great for me because I have numerous back issues. I requested extra pillows when booking and they had 6 for the two of us at check in. The bathroom had toothpaste, toothbrushes, hair dryer, hair brushes, hair ties, razors, soap, shampoo & conditioner in the lobby they had packets of epsom salt, hair oils and skin care products, umbrellas for you to use if needed. You name it they provided it. The rain shower is absolutely amazing! When we didn't want our room cleaned we would return at the end of the day to find a big bag of fresh towels by our door. The front desk staff were very helpful a big thank you to Muraoka she had tremendous patience in assisting me with purchasing online tickets to a concert at the Cotton club. Something that I was struggling with on my own as you needed to sign up for an account first. Very happy with this hotel.

The hotel is perfectly located for sightseeing in Tokyo (or business for that matter) as it is right next to Kyobashi Station on the Ginza Metro line (use exit 6) and is only a 5 minute walk from Tokyo Station. The hotel is arranged over multiple floors above the reception/lobby which is on floor 3 of the building. We were on floor 10 but there were more above. There is a 24hr 7-11 shop on the ground floor and a mall with several eateries (Japanese and international) on the other side of the road and a few other restaurants in the street nearby (including, weirdly, the only Croatian restaurant in.Japan).
Our room was a decent enough size for central Tokyo, was spotlessly clean, and had all the amenities you’d expect. The beds were firm but very comfy, as were the pillows. My only slight niggle about the whole stay was that the bed was only accessible from one side - luckily MrsEx-Punk doesn’t stir once asleep so wasn’t faced with climbing over me to get to the loo!
Our room (1012) faced onto an office block across a small gap between buildings (I think we may have been above the service entrance for the 7/11), but as the windows of the room had net privacy curtains as well very effective black out curtains, it wasn’t a problem for us. It also meant that the room was dead quiet at night.
In the reception/lobby area there was a supply of drip coffee bags, teas, creamer etc that you could take for your room, along with bath salts and other items not already in the room.
Checkin was quick and easy and checkout was at a decent 11am and fully automated.
Highly recommended

Stayed in the Daiwa Roynet hotel end of February for 4 nights, we came as my husband was running the Tokyo marathon.

Pro’s - fantastic location, 5 mins from Tokyo station, seconds away from the Kyobashi line, 7/11 in the lobby. Best shower I have ever come across in a hotel, clean towels every day left outside the door (if you had do not disturb on) along with water and other bits and bobs, more toiletries at reception that you could just help yourself to, very quiet, friendly staff.

Con’s - tiny room, nowhere to put anything, we had 2 big suitcases as we were moving on to Malaysia and just had to pile them on the sofa, it was a nightmare, you barely had room to move about, one bed pushed almost right up to wall so had to slide down bed to get off it. Also lift was bizarre , it was so annoying that it stoped at reception every time and it would change direction if someone called it.

Overall I would recommend for a short stay

Good hotel close to Tokyo station (10 min walk) and Kyobashi station (outside hotel). Good rooms and excellent bathrooms. If you are a foreign traveller please note: they won’t call restaurants to reserve table for you (they don’t provide any concierge service) and if you want later than 11am check out they charge you 1000 yen per hour. Apart from that if you like hard beds and hard pillows it’s a great hotel, providing you can get it at the right price.

The room was smaller and dirtier than I expected. Especially for a recently renovated hotel I was disappointed. The room was narrow and it looked very dingy. There were scuff marks and ripped wall paper on the walls and the worst part the bed was rock hard. I don't understand why there aren't more reviews talking about the rock hard bed?! Idk if there is different rooms with different beds but when I went to the front desk to ask about the beds they were very confused and didn't understand what I was talking about. I'm not sure if this is normal or not but it's making me feel crazy. Our beds were literally rock hard and I had to go out and buy a soft mattress topper. Sleeping here has messed up my back and ruined our trip to Japan.

I thought the room was a little small, but the bathroom was very easy to use. I don't usually walk, but after walking around Tokyo, my feet were sore, so I was able to fill the bathtub with hot water and relax. The bathtub was designed to prevent your back from slipping, which was nice.

Also, it's rare to be able to sleep well in a hotel when you're traveling, but I was able to sleep well at this hotel. There were two different types of pillows, which was nice.

However...the only thing that was disappointing was that when my family tried to check out at the automatic checkout machine, they inserted the card in the wrong direction, and an error occurred. When I called a female employee near the front desk, she didn't respond and only sighed. I wasn't there because I was talking to the front desk about something else, but when I turned around, the woman opened the machine, took out the card from inside, and was about to close the machine. I didn't know what was going on at the time, but I thought I heard a "tsk" and thought I had misheard something for a moment, but when I asked her how she handled it afterwards, I don't think I had misheard.

We all went to the front desk to talk about how nice the hotel was, but because of this woman's attitude, I reduced the points from 5 to 3. It's disappointing.

I am not sure if there are better options but during our numerous entrances and exits of Tokyo station I did see express buses to Narita airport right outside the Yaesu south exit of the terminal. There is a bus terminal there 2 block walk to the hotel.
