We asked for a silent room and we got it. Bed was comfortable and we had a nice view. Everything seemed to be clean although I found some hair in the bathroom! Breakfast poor. But nice location and I will come back again.

Breakfast was great ,all you needed to start your day. 7/11 was across the street for any midnight cravings you get. Also 2 lawsons were around the block , Dennys is...

Business style hotel in a nondescript area of Tokyo. 16 square meter room, utilitarian. Good wifi. Small fridge, hot water heating pot, small work desk, one chair. no real closet, small luggage rack. Had I been traveling with more than carry one or a small suitcase it would have been pretty tight. But though spartan the room was quite adequate...

For those of you who are sensitive to volatile organic chemicals of furniture, wall paper, carpet sprays... don't stay, I got very sick and started getting asthma attacks which I never had before staying here for just two nights. My mouth was full with canker sores as well which did not exist prior to checking in. Many Japanese hotels are...

The room is pretty small as of most standard rooms in Japan. But they never fail to make up to you with the sparkling clean room. Breakfast buffet spread is very limited. There's salad, egg (scrambled egg or Japanese omelet), a protein (sausage, meat balls) and 3 selections of breads. Location wise, it's near to 2 subways within probably 5...

This hotel is a good choice if you wish to stay in the Jimbo-cho area of Tokyo. The rooms are average in size for Tokyo and the hotel has free wi-fi in the lobby and LAN connection in each room. A breakfast buffet is available, it is only Western style foods (eggs, burgers, sausages) with no rice or Japanese food...

The most nearest subway station is Jimbocho but may need to search a bit time. Room size 16m quite good in Tokyo area. Hotel provide free breakfast and also provide boxes to pack up to room since limited seats. Breakfast are simple but tasty. A little strange with the open design that quite hot while in summer time because the...

The hotel is conveniently located, but the rooms are tiny and the building is weird. The hotel corridors leading to the rooms are open. The receptionists are not very friendly. The cleaning service misplaced stuff that was on our bed and we never saw it again. The hotel management was just not bothered. The breakfast was more of a standing...

The hotel is located in the district called Chiyoda-Ku. The nearest subway (metro) station is Jimbocho (Shunjuku Line, Mita Line and Hanzomon Line). It is a 3 minutes walk from the station. Just leave the station at exit A2. Then head to the right and at the crossing directly to the right again, now just follow the street. There is...

Staying in Ochanomizu / Akihabara / Kanda

Neighbourhood Profile
Ochanomizu / Akihabara / Kanda
Ochanomizu boasts its academic foundations starting with Yushima Seido, the birthplace of modern day Japanese education. The area has kept its college town feel with several university campuses. If you head towards Jinbocho, you'll find musical instrument and sports equipment shops, and an area of used bookstores for students and anyone interested in literature and the arts. Akihabara is well-known for its computer and electronic goods stores, and is now hugely popular as the must-visit mecca for people interested in anime and games. Kanda is an office district where you can find loads of reasonably priced izakayas popular with professionals who stop to eat and drink before making their way home.
