Good location, good staff, quiet place, close to all we need (restaurants, convenient store, Kanda JR station). Have charger in the room for all kind of phone. You can rent a notebook from the front desk. I will be back there again this year! :-)

Hotel 5 min walk to Kanda station. Exit by West gate. Standard budget hotel. Clean and no fuss. Breakfast optional - buy coupons a day earlier at 900JPY or on the same day 1040JPY. Pillow in the room is the hard type. You can take a soft pillow from the lobby, and any other accessories - horse oil for facial...

This place is close to Kanda JR station. (5 minutes walk on a flat road). There are many places to eat locally, a couple of good bars and a convenience store close by. The hotel is pretty difficult to miss. The name is plastered up the side of the hotel. Yes the decor is a tad dated but the bed...

This hotel is located in a perfect part of Tokyo if you just want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the main areas of Tokyo. It is about a 5 min walk to a really well connected Subway/JR station which is perfect for us visitors with a JR Rail Pass. Tokyo train station is only one stop...

We got this hotel with my mom and sister after a whole day in Tokyo Disney. Our stay was excellent. Complete neccessities, accommodating staff, polite, clean rooms and baths. Although it was quite a long walk from the train, it was safe. There are also nice restaurants nearby and convenient stores.

Nice place, pretty cheap compared to the prices of the other hotels in the same area. Close to the metro station of Kanda and in the full CBD. Clean rooms, funny typical Japanese wc in the bathroom and kind reception service by the staff 24h. Recommended!

Great room, great service, very comfy beds, everything we needed right there. Maps in english would be great. No laundry, but a laundry service offered. Breakfast was a bit hmmm, not really that great. Pillows were very hard too. Massage service they offer was amazing its an outside service, but great.

Stayed 1 night before flying out of Tokyo. It is just a few minute walk from Kanda station so very convenient for JR. Staff were very pleasant and extremely helpful. Lemonade is provided free in the lobby and the staff were happy to provide me with an umbrella when I went out in the rain. They looked after luggage after...

Convenient hotel. Walking distance from Kanda station. No frill budget hotel. Check in and check out is a breeze. I requested for early check in at 11am and paid additional 4000jpy. View is not much from room. But service at 11-12 noon is,quick and efficient. You can walk to the Nishi kanda eat street with lots of izakaya, or to...

Staying in Ochanomizu / Akihabara / Kanda

Neighbourhood Profile
Ochanomizu / Akihabara / Kanda
Ochanomizu boasts its academic foundations starting with Yushima Seido, the birthplace of modern day Japanese education. The area has kept its college town feel with several university campuses. If you head towards Jinbocho, you'll find musical instrument and sports equipment shops, and an area of used bookstores for students and anyone interested in literature and the arts. Akihabara is well-known for its computer and electronic goods stores, and is now hugely popular as the must-visit mecca for people interested in anime and games. Kanda is an office district where you can find loads of reasonably priced izakayas popular with professionals who stop to eat and drink before making their way home.
