Location is near Jimbocho station, less than 5 mins walking distance. Decent size room for budget hotel standard with clean bathroom. The only problem is the room can be very cold at night especially during rainy days as the heater system does not really works very well.

Thank you for staying at our hotel and your comment, but we are sorry that the room temperature was not comfortable. We understand that the air-conditioner in each room should work accordingly (including the switch of cooling/heating). Keeping its maintenance well, we would like to keep making efforts to make your stay more comfortable. Thank you.

We were traveling in a group of 3. The 3 person room was of decent size, well lit, came with a TV, and was comfortable. It seems like most of the staff if not all are multilingual, so it was very easy to communicate with them. They were all helpful and respectful. There are stairs and elevators to go to...

This is the second time I have stayed with a Sakura hotel. This time I came with two friends at the start of December for 4 nights. It was conveniently located a 2 min walk from Jimbocho Station and a convenience store was just up the road. Jimbocho is known as the used book district so it is makes an...

Convinient location. Very near to subway station. Best to take a cab from Tokyo station if you have a lot of luggage The staff were friendly, the bathrooms and the room were all very clean, and the ammenities (robe, bath towel, and free shampoo/body wash) were nice. The internet service is fast and good, and myself and my fellow vegan...

Stayed in the hostel for four nights in a dorm room and one night in a private room. I had to move to a private room for one night as I booked rather late (three weeks before my trip) and there were no dorms available that night. The staff were very helpful though and kept in touch via email, updating...

Very basic and affordable hostel if you want to have a safe friendly bed and breakfast option in Tokyo. We had 2 bunk beds (super-soft dawn duvets) in our room for the family of 4, powerful showers on the same floor and several toilets, wash basins, laundry, bar and reception. All facilities are available 24/7. Linen changed daily with clean...

Neighbourhood Profile
Ochanomizu / Akihabara / Kanda
Ochanomizu boasts its academic foundations starting with Yushima Seido, the birthplace of modern day Japanese education. The area has kept its college town feel with several university campuses. If you head towards Jinbocho, you'll find musical instrument and sports equipment shops, and an area of used bookstores for students and anyone interested in literature and the arts. Akihabara is well-known for its computer and electronic goods stores, and is now hugely popular as the must-visit mecca for people interested in anime and games. Kanda is an office district where you can find loads of reasonably priced izakayas popular with professionals who stop to eat and drink before making their way home.
