We stayed in a small double room for 5 nights. Everything was ok, except for a rather small bed (120cm), but we were informed before booking, so no huge complaint. (Therefore, if you are particular about having a comfortable, normal double bed, do not go for this.) Otherwise, the room and service was fine, and its location is also good,...

This hotel is located near the Hanzomon station of the Hanzomon line, so it´s easy to move with the subway. The neighbourhood is very quiet, right in front of the Imperial Palace gardens. The room had an incredible view of the city and was also very comfortable, not as small as we thought it would be. The staff was ok....

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights for my business trip, since my branch office just across the street from this hotel. This hotel has a typical Japanese hotel room, with small room and small bathroom, but with a quite full equipped amenities. Every floor have vending machines and water dispenser. This Hotel located near Imperial Palace and in...

After staying in a tiny box in another Japanese hotel, I was expecting more of the same, but the Grand Arc Hanzomon was a pleasant surprise. Although the hotel room was built on the same pattern as most Japanese business hotels - bed on the left, small gap, desk on the right, bathroom in front before bed - there was...

I like this hotel. Clean, quiet enough, rooms ok (but the semi double is a single) but there is a real problem with two things: 1. Almost all the rooms seem to be smoking rooms. It is vital to specify a non-smoking room. This hotel also has what it calls "no smoking treatment rooms". This means smoking room with air...

i am so taken back by this hotel's service that they rather send their guest away because they have made a mistake by assigning the guest the wrong room but did not offer any assistance to the guest to look for alternative non-smoking rooms in other hotels. I booked a non-smoking room for this hotel but upon my arrival, they...

We stayed here in October, and found this hotel a bit hard to get to. We transferred to the Hanzomon subway line from the Yamanote Line, and with our two large luggages, we found the transfer between the stations not accessible at all. We had to carry our luggages up and down many flights of stairs with no available escalators...

Very big and clean room compared to other 3 star hotels in Tokyo I stayed in for the same price. And the view outside the windows is astonishing. I was in the 14th floor and could see the Tokyo Tower, the parliament and the imperial garden.

This hotel is cheaper than most in Tokyo and it's pretty well located for the Metro. I expected the room to be small and to be fair the width of the bed (120cm) was advertised when booking so I shouldn't be too critical, but it's the smallest double I've had in a hotel. As the two days there were spent...

We stayed here for six nights in September. The hotel is conveniently located near Hanzomon station. The rooms are spotless. The economy double room is very small though, but for the price it was a great deal.

Staying in Yotsuya / Iidabashi

Neighbourhood Profile
Yotsuya / Iidabashi
Yotsuya and Iidabashi are areas that developed around the outer moat of the Imperial palace. Nearby in Kagurazaka, there is an old red-light district with a photogenic feel evocative of the ambiance of old Tokyo. Narrow paths with stone paving remain to this day, and there are long-standing restaurants with geishas and quaint old cafes in townhouse buildings.
