Detailed Reviews
I came to this hotel on my anniversary trip and the hotel was able to upgrade me to a corner room suite (I’m also Bonvoy platinum). The room was beautiful. It also had a fantastic TOTO washlet toilet with the lid and bathroom light turning on automatically when you walk in the bathroom. These toilets are far superior to any toilet in North America, why aren’t they commonplace in North America as they are in Japan?
The room also had fantastic views of the city and Imperial Palace and has an iPad to control the curtains and lights etc.
The pool and bath areas are great (Japanese style naked, separate sections for gents and ladies).
The morning breakfast in the Oasis restaurant was awesome, great buffet options and one option from the menu.
I also had dinner at Souten. It is a very nice restaurant and I got the Souten meal which was about $200 USD per person, so that is quite pricey, but it was a multi-course meal
that included Wagyu beef, so that probably
accounts for much of the large price tag.
Best part of the hotel is the staff. They are incredibly friendly and helpful. They even arranged to courier a tote bag we had mistakenly left at our last hotel in Hakuba (3-4 hours away) and it arrived in less than 24 hours. Exceptional staff, they do a wonderful job in everything they do.

Where do I begin?
With the white gloved service upon arrival of our vehicle from the airport?
With the swift removal of our many pieces of luggage and delivery to our room?
With the quite smooth elevator ride up to reception?
With the pleasant aroma of the reception area and the spotless hotel? (We did purchase the difuser oils in the gift shop!)
With the smiling, polite, efficient receptionist who not only told us where to find the elevator but escorted us to it?
Are you seeing a trend here?
Our King room was exquistely designed and furnished, huge window wall overlooking the city, many amenities - robes, slippers, chocolates, tooth and hair brushes, etc. The most comfortable bed that can be found in a hotel with premium bedding and linens.
The wet room in the bath area had a huge soaking tub, rain shower and a hand held, both with plenty of water pressure. Bathroom amenities were also plentiful and premium quality. The high tech ToTo toilet only took a few minutes to figure out for a first timer using such technology .... and it did a good job too.
The smoking lounge was well appreciated by my wife who did not have to go outside to smoke. Ventilation was supurb because even as a non-smoker I hardly noticed any smell when I met her there.
We only had dinner twice in the hotel ..... food and service was delightful.
The bar area also served food along with drink.
There are plenty of restaurants and food choices on the first 3 levels of the building ... a grocery store, Dean and DeLuca, chocolatier, bars, noodle shops, steak, etc. Something for everyone.
As a bonus, it is only a 3 minute walk to the vast subway and train station which was a life saver after a full day of touring.
The hotel is not inexpensive, but it is worth every Yen.
If we return to Tokyo it would be our #1 pick.

I've stayed in numerous five star Marriott properties, and currently am an ambassador elite member. This was my third stay at the Prince Gallery, and it is my favorite hotel in this world. This hotel is something out of a cinematic production, from the moment you exit the cab you have the white glove service. There is this smell in the hallway, which is paved with this unique black stone I have never seen before in other hotels, and it just feels very therapeutic.
The rooms are amazing, with huge windows, including select rooms/suites that have showers with unbelievable city views. The food is amazing, from the sushi dinner to Teppan to room service (get the Wagyu set).
I just love this hotel. It is truly an experience staying here, and I encourage you to try it.

Situated in a relatively quite area of Tokyo, the hotel is very modern and really very nice. The location is a block away from the subway line and plenty of food and beverage options are within easy walking distance. Rooms were nicely appointed and the shower had amazing water pressure! Bathroom is a little tight for two people, but workable. Club lounge was stocked with lots of food and beverage options, although the morning breakfast buffet was a 3/5 for quality and choice of foods. Fitness room has everything you need....coupled with an amazing view. Actually the view from anywhere in this hotel is striking; I woke to Mt Fuji in the distance! Hotel bar was nothing special but altogether adequate. Concierge services were exceptional and their insight and assistance on everything from tours to restaurants was much appreciated. Housekeeping staff also very good. Quick and efficient, yet helpful and not rushed, check in and out service by the front desk was also very good. Overall no complaints and you will not be disappointed in your stay at this property.

We had an amazing time at the Prince Gallery when we visited Tokyo Christmas 2019. During our visit we stayed at Park Hyatt Tokyo, Ritz Carlton Tokyo, and Prince Gallery. All were exceptional, but Prince Gallery stood out and would be our choice if we were to visit again.
We traveled as a family...mom, dad, and 8 year old son.
Location
1. Prince Gallery
2. Ritz Carlton
3. Park Hyatt
Location is really the deciding factor here for us as all three hotels were exceptional in terms of room, facilities and service.
Prince Gallery is right next to a subway station where four lines intersect. This was extremely convenient as we were traveling with our young son. Also, there is a convenience store, deli, restaurants in the building and lots of restaurants nearby down the street.
Ritz Carlton is connected to Tokyo mid town which houses lots of shops and restaurants, but subway stations are a ten minute walk.
Park Hyatt isn’t close to anything. You’ll have to walk pretty far for any stores, restaurants or convenience stores.
Room
1. Park Hyatt
2. Prince Gallery
3. Ritz Carlton
PH has the biggest standard room and the decor was my favorite.
As platinum at Marriott, we were upgraded to a corner view room on our last day at Prince Gallery. The corner king view at the prince was simply breathtaking and really ended our visit on a high note.
The tech at PG was also a nice touch. It was helpful to have all of the controls for the room in one place, instead of having to search for light and curtain switches.
Fitness, spa
All three were great in their own way.
Service
1. Ritz Carlton
2. Prince Gallery
3. Park Hyatt
Service at the ritz was just a notch above that of PG and PH.
Benefits
Getting breakfast at PG as platinum Marriott members really makes a difference. There aren’t a lot of places open before 11am in Japan and it helped to have a free good breakfast before we started our day.
PG’s better location and free breakfast as platinum members really made it stand out when ranking these amazing hotels.

We stayed for two nights in the lead up to Christmas. The hotel is beautifully designed and chic and takes in place among Tokyo's leading hotels.
The best part was the room... our room had a big window seat where you could sit for ages and stare at the uninterrupted views, the bathroom was wonderful with soaker tub, seperate shower and excellent toiletries. The bed was also very comfortable.
The staff were excellent and check-in etc. very well managed.
The location is also excellent... Close to a subway station and the area as you cross the road near the Aksaksa subway station is very lively with lots of small streets, bars, restaurants etc - everything you need for an authentic Tokyo experience just a quick walk from the hotel.

+1
My first stay at the Prince Gallery Tokyo Kioicho Hotel was a fortunate surprise as my usual business hotel was booked out. My office is in the Maronouchi area and I tend to stay close to the office however the Prince Gallery was just a short trip away.
My first impressions of the hotel were “wow”! The view from the room was simply spectacular and my partner and I never tired of sitting in the comfortable cushioned window box and looking out at the open view. We also sampled the hotel restaurants and bars which were absolutely top quality and shared spectacular views with a funky modern design to provide a very modern take on the Japanese business/leisure hotel.
Unfortunately my stay was cut short by Typhoon Hagibis. I must commend the staff highly for keeping myself and my business colleague informed of the situation. Trains and the limousine bus to Narita had ceased running, but a small window opened up on Friday evening for Saturday transportation to Narita on the limousine bus. The concierge desk rang late Friday night (we had asked to be notified if the situation changed) and secured us tickets on the Narita Limousine Bus that only operated a few services on Saturday morning and allowed us to depart the hotel at 7am and make the last flight out of Narita and back home to Singapore at midday before the airport and all transport systems in Tokyo shut down.
The client-centric approach and organization this would have taken given the large number of guests facing disruption from the Typhoon was a credit to the staff that managed this seamlessly and smoothly.
I highly recommend this Hotel for either the business or leisure traveller to Tokyo. And make sure you take in the Japanese breakfast - it is sensational!

Spent final night of a vacation in Japan at the Prince Gallery.
After checking in, we were given a glass of champagne before being escorted to our room with the most magnificent view. The room settings were controlled by an iPad (lights, curtains etc). The staff was exceptionally attentive and the hotel has wonderful amenities (pool, hot tub, sauna). I selected breakfast as my check in gift, and enjoyed a delicious buffet overlooking the gardens. Centrally located to multiple subways, with lots of great restaurants in the area.
We only stayed for 1 night but really made an impression- I travel for work ~80%, and this is the nicest hotel I have ever stayed in.

The hotel certainly exudes luxury from the moment you arrive. The staff promptly take your luggage and direct you to the lift to the lobby. I also loved the airy and bright lobby from the floor to ceiling windows. We were also able to check-in in the club lounge with a glass of champagne as our welcome drink.
The room is certainly not big by any means but had great views and comfortable seating to take in the view. As expected in these kinds of hotels, it had excellent showers and Byredo toiletries which housekeeping kept well stocked in our room. However, I'm not sure why they went with non-heated seats for the toilets which was a huge miss after staying in a couple other hotels that had this.
I feel like while the staff were trained well, they don't seem to have any discretion in doing anything so the default response to a request here is "sorry, no". While checking in, we notified them that our flight on check out was late at night and requested for a late check-out and we were also OK with paying for it. They couldn't do it at all, not even to 1pm. That's fine since maybe they were fully booked. So lastly we asked to stay in the club lounge for a bit after checking out. They said yes but we can't take anything from the club lounge. This irked me quite a bit since it can't really be much cost to the hotel. So we didn't stay and just went to the airport early. But to be honest it just made us feel unwelcome.
If you are looking for a good breakfast in this hotel, look elsewhere. The buffet is pathetic. I had better selection at the Hilton. At this pricepoint, that's saying a lot. They adapted their breakfast (possibly due to complaints) to a buffet style with 1 egg dish. Yes, you can only order once. The hotel is that stingy. The supervisors (the guys in suits) were good in theory since they kept the buffet items stocked, but since there were 3 of them there were a couple of times where they were a little intrusive and walked in front of guests. Croissants and the truffle egg dish was good though. I know that they can do a lot better since we had lunch at this hotel on the first day and it was good except the pizza which seemed like it could use a little longer in the oven since it wasn't crispy.
Make what you will of it from this hotel. It is a luxurious experience but it seems like they are extremely stingy to their guests and possibly their staff which they keep on a short leash.

Dear Greg H, Thank you for choosing The Prince Gallery Tokyo Kioicho, a Luxury Collection Hotel. We appreciate your valuable and detailed feedback. First and foremost, we do apologize for any inconvenience caused. We understand how your disappointment was and your frustration that you experienced at the club lounge. The service we offered during your stay with us was certainly not the one that you would expect from The Prince Gallery Tokyo Kioicho. We take your comments seriously and will definitely share with our senior management team. In addition, we regret our poor service at the restaurant. Walking in front of our guests is not acceptable. We will focus on our weakness and conduct the training to be able to provide more personalized service and top hospitality level we aim to achieve. We will do our best to accommodate your request as much as possible depending on the situation. Once again, thank you very much for your feedback and we sincerely hope that we will have the opportunity to serve you again in the future with our improved service. Sincerely yours, Yukinori Tsunoda Director of Rooms The Prince Gallery Tokyo Kioicho

There is no 24 hour service. The wash takes 2 days. Shirt 1500 yen, dress 3000 yen. There are many laundries in the immediate area. Fast cheap.
So sorry! I missed this question. Do u still need the info or did u find it?
I find that most Marriott properties have an email address on the hotels Facebook page. Try there.
Sorry I did not use Subway - I took taxi everywhere. hope you had fun!
