Great friendly staff here, clean accommodations, and decent prices! Staff are quick to accommodate and explain things. The free wifi works fast, however it is only available at the lobby. Note that some rooms are underground though, which might not appeal to some, as the ventilation isn't that present and might be rather stuffy.

Basically if you are going to the island for a day to check out the choco hill and the island in general, then this place is ok, it is 5 mins from the port at max, you can quickly check in and then get on to your stuff. it is cheap and the people are pleasant. Ideals for back packers... More

Instead of staying another night in my luxurious resort accommodation in Panglao Island And I have an early flight the next day, I decided to transfer to the main city of Bohol which is Tagbilaran so I'll be nearer to the airport, I don't need to wake up early and rush for my flight, I can experience Tagbilaran's nightlife and... I was looking for a nice play to stay that's not too far away from downtown. I decided to try my luck with Sun Avenue. I arrived there at around 2:30 PM and was surprised to see an empty reception desk. About a minute later, the receptionist returned and I chose a room with twin beds on the second floor... More

My room was not on the incredibly noisy street front but in the back so it was quiet. This place, like many budget places in asia gives you a fresh bottom sheet but no top sheet. Instead you are forced to cover yourself with a bedspread/blanket that has been slept in by unknown countless others. Terribly risky for lice and... More

Reserved a room with a "queen" bed, but when I informed them that there was a double bed in the room their absurd reply was "to us that's a queen bed", and they refused to refund the money paid or move me to a room with a real queen bed. They put one towel in the room for 2 people.... More

I stayed here for four days following some time on Panglao Island. I chose the hotel because of its ideal location by the ferries, the second-largest mall in Tagbilaran, and being in the CBD. I stayed in two rooms during my stay. Within this hotel, depending on the room, you can have a vastly difference experience. The first two nights,... More

Sun Avenue is a simple place. Nothing fancy, but very clean, with friendly service, and great location. And the prices are very affordable – less than 1,000 pesos for a single room, including a nice breakfast with their famous brewed coffee (excellent). Flat screen TV with lots of channels; good aircon; nice restaurant attached. Wifi in the lobby or restaurant... More

Good location, about 10 minutes from the airport and seaport with good access to public transportation. The hotel staff were very accommodating and polite, makes you appreciate more a good sunny day. The rooms were okay, considerably clean. The bathroom layout was a little odd, and hot shower was a hit or miss. On my first 2 days, they forgot... More

“Cheaper rooms are in the basement level and do not have windows, and also do not include breakfast. Depending on which rooms are available during your stay, it may be worth to 'upgrade' to one of the deluxe rooms which have windows and breakfast included. Otherwise, the standard rooms are still quite decent, quiet, and you can sleep till noon if you like (but that's not why you're in Bohol!).”

“i put "average" as the noise level above because if you have a room on the street it will be unbelievably noise but if you get a back room as i did it will be quiet.”
