This is a charming hotel with very good quality food. The rooms are a little basic, but after some negotiation we got a room with a superb view of the valley and the smoking volcano. There is no wi-fi, and shampoo does not come as standard, but sachets are on sale! The staff were friendly but seemed to have little...

The location of the hotel is easy walking distance to the main squire, attractions and restaurants etc. The staff were excellent and nothing was to much trouble. Seemed to be very safe area at night to walk around. The only down side to this hotel is the road if it is wet as it becomes really muddy as there is...

The food was incredible. I tried Alpaca steak...really good. The rooms, food, and staff were fantastic. The only thing I would suggest, is that they get a few chairs in the back, so you can sit and marvel at the view. Breath-taking. If you are looking for a Hilton....look elsewhere. This is a quaint, quiet and beautiful small place. Relax...

Our two day trip with Giardino Tours stopped here for the night, great view of the valley, good food and cute rooms, it's a great place to escape the hectic and spend quality time together. For dinner we made our own appetizer table side, what a sweet idea

Chivay might look like the end of the world but it is a starting point for the cruz of the condor and as such not a bad choice. staff in the hotel is ver friendly and the local food offered by traditionally clothed ladies in the restaurant is abundant and very tasty. The bungalows are located halfway a small hill...

Stayed here as part of our Coca Canyon trip and really enjoyed it. The hotel is located in the middle of a beautiful valley that has some fantastic views. Lunch, dinner and breakfast were all fantastic. If you are in the area I would recommend a visit.

We stayed here as part of our tour of the Colc Canyon. It was fabulous. The food was brilliant, the hammocks lovely and the pet alpaca very sweet. Highly recommended. Do try to see the inside of the church if you go, and you can buy water in the little village shops.

The hotel was clean and in a nice location. The staff were not particularly friendly. The hotel was cold. Probably the most meager breakfast I have experienced in a hotel - cereals and salad. We were not offered an evening buffet as advertised but a very basic set menu and a take it or leave it desert and dining time...

We spent two nights at Casa Mama Yachi and have to admit that it did not meet our expectations. The hotel's setting is lovely, has panoramic views of mountain peaks, and is located in the peaceful and idyllic village of Corporaque. We were initially given a tiny corner room with no sufficient space for our luggage. Upon our repeated complaints...

An incredibly charming place to stay near Chivay, Colca Canyon, etc. The building is like a lodge with a large dining room down some stone steps with breathtaking views out of the back windows. The dinner and breakfast was amazing! Best meals I had in Peru. Staff were very friendly. Wish we had stayed longer to enjoy the grounds. There...
