We stayed at this B & B for one night, so we wouldn't be rushed in seeing Mont Saint Michel. The owners, Danielle and Kin, speak excellent English. Danielle has the most incredible enthusiasm for everyone who arrives. What a wonderful personality!!! We spoke on the phone right before we arrived and when we drove into the parking lot, Danielle...

A perfect B&B for your visit to Mont St. Michel! Located in Beauvoir, just a short drive from the island, you'll be perfectly at home with Danielle and Kim. We stayed with them for one night in May, 2011, and were completely satisfied with everything about their B&B. The rooms are charming and comfortable, very clean, and open onto a...

The absolute best way to see Mont St. Michel is not during the day, but rather in the "off hours." Plan a one-night stay at Les Vielles Digues. Arrive around 3pm, settle in and head to the island around 4. Spend as much time as you'd like, get a bite to eat in the town and enjoy views of the...

Owner Danielle makes this B&B superbly welcoming. I would go back just to see her again, but our room was terrific. While there are no views of the island from her property, our 2nd floor room overlooked a lovely garden, with windows on two sides. It was quite spacious, as it had a 2nd bed for a child. The décor...

The location is superb for a very short drive to Mont St Michel enabling you to arrive before the crowds and leave long after they have gone. We were delayed arriving and were expected to find our own way to our room, although as luck would have it the host was still present when we happened fortunately upon the location....

Dear Mr P.... I understand your disapointment that on the phone I told you I could not stay up late to welcome you, but I have to work very hard everyday and also need to rest and go to bed early. Sorry I am not a work horse, just a human being. But, as you said, I WAS THERE....I remember...

My wife and I stayed at Les Vieilles Digues for one night on our drive through Northern France in April, 2011. This seven room B&B is located just off the main road to Mont St. Michel. The room was comfortable and tastefully decorated. The presence of the extra unused twin bed made the room feel smaller than it is. The...

During our whirlwind trip across Normandy where we usually only spent one night in each location, I opted to spend two nights at Les Vieilles Digues near Mont St. Michel, and I am so glad we did. Our room was comfortable, clean, really large, and had a patio that looked out onto the b&b's beautiful gardens. The breakfast was also...

I would not rely on the fact that you have confirmed reservation from owner. I have booked a room in this B&B. everything looks fine, I have got booking confirmation email with detailed directions. We came on Saturday night to the place and owner said, that he did not have our name in his list and asked us to go...

I am sorry that it happenned to you, we are human and we make mistakes, that is the reason why we ask our guests to reconfirm their reservations before arrival. Mea Culpa, we apologize. But you are unfair, because we did find you a room after many phone calls, you did not find by yourself as you stated. Again sorry...

My husband and I had a wonderful time on our visit to Mont St. Michel. Danielle and Kin are wonderful hosts and speak English well. The B&B is set back but on the main street to Mont St. Michel which can be a little busy with traffic but usually quiets down later at night. Our room was comfortable and clean...
