Stayed a night at the Toyo Tei japanese room but was disappointed with the dated and tired looking room. Though we have a balcony overlooking the river and bridge, it does not make up for the condition of the room. Room rate is JPY12,312 per person inclusive of breakfast and dinner. Buffet dinner offer a reasonable variety of dishes and...

Well what can I say? This hotel was just great. Very comfortable Japanese style room. Very well kept interior (makes great photos to remember). Friendly staff. And food...We hit the week when the hotel was celebrating the Tokachigawa local produce. My or my. Cheese was to die for. Milk the best I ever tasted. Meat and fish superb. Rice and...

My wife and I stayed at room 322 of this hotel on 2016/10/05 as the first day of a guided group touring. The room was traditional Japanese tatami style, relatively small and slightly out dated. The Japanese style dinner in the banquet hall is good. The quality of the onsen is very good with skin moisturizing effect, so called onsen...

It's the best hot springs hotel in Tokachigawa. The hot springs is big with different varieties. It's great. The room is very traditional, even though it's dated, it's in good condition. The buffet is unexpectedly delicious, better than most of the onsen hotels in Japan. The check out time of this hotel is 10AM in the morning, bear in mind!

We stayed in the Spa Suite of this hotel which has a in room onsen tube. We had the view of the river and bridge. This was really nice and very relaxing. This will definitely on my visit again list. The room is not large, but it had a private balcony and a private semi outdoor onsen tube that you...

We only came to the hotel to use the Onsen which is available to the public from possibly 1pm but I can't quite recall if this is the exact time. It may be available earlier. The onsen is in two levels and have different offerings. The lower level has a bubbling spa and still pool as well as a waterfall...

In the eastern suburbs of the city of Obihiro is the hot spring region of Tokachi-gawa River Hot Springs. The Dai-Ichi Hotel is one of the several hotels along the Tokachi-gawa River with a unique hot spring water called “moor” hot water. Here “moor” means ‘dark peaty soil underground.’ According to the local authorities, the hot spring water in the...

We specially go out of our driving route to try the special Moor spring onsen. The hotel is lovely and the room looked out to a beautiful serene river and bridge. Sunset watching is an activity here but unfortunately it was cloudy when we are there. The room is a little small for 3 of us on tatami. The onsen...

We were not sure what else there is to do here in Tokichi when we booked this hotel but the website sure looks good and the idea of onsen as part of the holiday is attractive. I was very impressed by the service provided by all members of the staff. The onsen area was wide and comfortable, and come with...
