A soul filling place that by virtue of the natural beauty of the surroundings the quietness makes me feel like I was living in a film or a dream. Add to this magnificent setting and the touching kindness of the family oriented staff and I found myself tearful upon departure. I was there off season but for me this was...

Castello di Vicarello is the perfect place to relax with friends and family. It is the most peaceful, beautiful, and breathtaking place to forget about the busy world! The views are stunning and out of this world. Moreover, the decor is truly unique, a blend of Indonesian/Asian antiques and Italian class. The food is fresh, authentic, and delicious, always accompanied...

My wife and I had a trip to Italy in early October. We spent 6 nights in three 5-star hotels in Tuscany. We had the most fantastic 2-night stay in Castello Di Vicarello. The 12th century castle has kept the original charm for both interior and exterior. We booked Chinese room, but the manager, Michela, offered us a free upgrade...

Castello di Vicarello is absolutely breathtaking from the moment you see it from the road. This is a genuinely unique experience in Tuscany. I can't think of better words than "simply magic" It's the kind of place that stays in your minds eye forever. The expansive grounds where they grow their own vegetables and herbs, each unique room along with...

This ancient castle and monastery has been refurbished in the most exquisite taste and style by the owners Carlo and Aurora. Their input is clear in every corner and they themselves are are...

This was truly the Tuscany experience in the rustic wild depths of the Maremma region. The 12th century Castello di Vicarello is all things sophisticated and comfortable, that has the perfect balance of old and modern in discerning restoration and style. We arrived in later November, and not matter that the heavens opened to great thunder and rain that rumbled...

My wife and I stayed for four nights in July. It is set in spectacular countryside and is very remote. I can understand why there are polarised views of CdiV. If your idea of luxury is based on comfort, convenience, high-end design, an abundance of uniformed staff at your beck and call, haute cuisine tasting menus and a place to...

“the rooms were quite expensive and a little out of my budget for a long stay, but it is worth staying a couple of nights as a treat at the end of a longer holiday and or they have one room that's part of the main house that is a lot cheaper but still stunning.”
